Is rustproffing really necessary?28 Aug 2005 23:31 GMT3
I just bought a used 2001 Honda Civic and I love it!!  Question
though...Should I get the car professionally rustproofed?  The car has
the original factory ristproffing already.  I can tell because there is
a residue in the trunk, hood, etc. (all 'rust prone' areas).

I have a 98 Accord EX.

battery and it would appear to charge up to 100% fairly quickly.  If I

Thought my fuel pump went out - replaced it, but still won't run. Replaced

No electricity to fuel pump - blue wire from ignition coil dead. #1 fuse
going to relay is hot. I'm stumped. Any help would be greatly ...
1996 Honda Accord Air Conditioning Not working28 Aug 2005 14:22 GMT2
Car has never had an air conditioning problem.  However, 2 days ago after
going through a car wash, I turned the A/C on and it failed to blow cold
air.  When I turn on the A/C light, the green light over the A/C goes on,
and uncooled air blows.  I noticed that the car does not labor ...

Mobil 1 Oil Filter Part Number Enquiry27 Aug 2005 20:47 GMT5
I'm wondering if anyone here happens to know which Mobil 1 Oil Filter
would apply to a 2005 Honda CR-V SE?
I used Mobil 1 High-Efficiency Oil Filters on my '89 and '97 Honda
Civics for many years without a problem, but for some odd reason, I

The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System, i.e. airbags) light came on again in
my 2002 Civic. This is the third time I've had this problem, and it isn't
cheap to fix. There are quite a few complaints already at
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/. If you've had this problem, but ...

any advice for changing valve guide seals? 90 Civic Ex 1.6L 5spd27 Aug 2005 16:07 GMT4
I have a little puff of blue smoke on startup, none while it's being
driven. I've been told this indicates worn valve guide seals and that
it's possible to change the seals with the head on the block. Anyone
ever done this? I've seen it discussed here, something about using
93 Accord clunking sound from front end27 Aug 2005 14:08 GMT3
I have a 93 Accord EX 5 spd, it got 230k miles on it. Recently the front end
gives a clunking sound when passing a bump and with steering turned at the
same time. If steering not turned seems fine. I took it to Pepboys, the
mechanics there couldn't fine anything wrong. They ...
99 Accord Front-End27 Aug 2005 12:51 GMT9
Can anyone give me some idea of what kind of regular maintenance
they've had to perform on their front end.  I ask as I've replaced
several parts on my front-end due to a side collision and I'm now faced
with re-replacing some of the same parts.  The repair shop says this is
2001 civic 105k maintenance27 Aug 2005 12:24 GMT1
I've scheduled to have my timing belt changed, along with the water pump,
seals, hoses, belts that are involved. Do you think a transmission should be
flushed or just get an oil change? I've heard conflicting info on the
question.
