I have a 93 Accord EX 5 sp that is emitting a chirping noise from the right front wheel. The chirp is made with each rotation of the wheel and increases in frequency with increased speed. I've installed new rotars, brake pads + greased shims and a new caliper...still get the

| Thank You "Elle" | 30 Sep 2005 20:53 GMT | 9 |
Thanks a million "Elle". I checked my coolant. It was bone dry. I addded anti-freeze/water mixture, took a spin around the block. The car is running normal. I will check the owner's manual and purge the line as you recommended.

| 2001 Honda Civic intermittent clutch problem | 30 Sep 2005 20:36 GMT | 7 |
My daughter came home last night and reported that she was having problems with her clutch. She said that is smelled like it was getting hot and it was hard to shift into lower gears, though she could easily shift into 5th which is unusual since it is normally a bit "stiff" ...

| 1987 Accord LX - idle speed checking and adjustment | 30 Sep 2005 19:26 GMT | 7 |
My 1987 Accord LX seems to have an idle speed problem. The label on the underhood states that the fast idle speed should be 2500 +/- 500 rpm, and the idle speed should be 800 rpm. I start the engine and the initial rpm reads 1750-1850. Then after a

| what's your 2005 Accord V6 MPG? | 30 Sep 2005 18:24 GMT | 13 |
Maybe it is still too early to "complain" that my V6 Accord is not doing what it says on spec. Average MPG is around 20 to 20.5, lower than its 21/30 rating. The roads are semi-highway averaged around 30miles/hour speed. 25 miles of commuting

I am in the market to buy a new Honda CR-V, but I would really like to know whether to wait for the 2006s to arrive or purchase one of the remaining 2005s off of my local dealership's lot? The dealership doesn't have any sales brochures for the '06 CR-V yet

| Quiet shims creeping out from between pad and piston | 30 Sep 2005 14:52 GMT | 2 |
I heard a scraping noise from the front right wheel area on my 90 Accord. I figured the brake pad had worn down to the squeeker so bought a new set of pads. When I got the wheel off I could see that the quiet shims had crept out about 3/8 in so that they would drag on the disk.

| 1996 honda civic dying at stops | 30 Sep 2005 14:31 GMT | 4 |
My sweet little 1996 Honda civic EX Coupe is dying at stops and sometimes during turns. I don’t know if it is the clutch or what. As I shift down from 2nd to 1st, the battery light will flash and it will just die as I come to a stop. Sometimes if I brake hard and give it

| 95 Integra Steering Gear Boot | 30 Sep 2005 11:27 GMT | 5 |
One of my steering gear boots has split at one end and I need to replace it. Now in looking at my Accord Haynes manual (they didn't put it in my Integra manual) that it looks to be fairly easy to do, just remove the tie rod end, cut the existing clamps and side the old
