I boughta 2005 Honda V6 accord coupe w sots of options recently. How adequate is the stock anti-theft system in it? I know that some companies's systems are better than others, and don't know how Honda stacks up against them. Do I need to buy an after-market anti-theft

| Rear brakes gone at 20k | 14 Sep 2005 17:14 GMT | 8 |
Had my 2004 Accord EX4 sedan in for 20k mile service (oil change and lots of checkups, as I recall), and the dealer said the front brakes were fine, but the *rear* brakes needed replacement. I just said yes. In retrospect, isn't that odd, that the back brakes were gone so

| Brand New CRV Oil Leak | 14 Sep 2005 15:39 GMT | 8 |
I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. My wife bought a 2005 CRV a couple of weeks ago, and we took it back yesterday as it was leaking oil in the driveway. When I looked under the car, you could even see the wet oil. At the dealer, the advisor seemed suprised, and

| 2002 Civic Door | 14 Sep 2005 15:32 GMT | 1 |
I just bought a Honda certified 2002 Civic LX/2 door. When I shut, or even tap on the driver's side door, it sounds tinny and hollow. The passenger side door sounds more solid and shuts with a nice solid sound. Any reason why one door sounds different than the other?

I have the ’02 accord with 81(k) miles. Within the last couple of months, I have noticed idle problems when the air conditioner is on. When I come to a stop, the car shakes but if the air conditioner is not on there is not a problem. Also, the a/c cools fine. Any clues?

| 2003 Accord, Compressor won't turn on | 14 Sep 2005 12:29 GMT | 7 |
I recently purchased a used 2003 Accord. While driving down the highway last night the A/C stopped blowing cold air. I figured maybe the "freon" was low. I ran by my brother-in-laws and he checked the level of the freon and said it's fine. He said the compressor isn't kicking on. We ...

Earlier today I had a no-start 2000 accord, that resulted in me changing out the battery. Pop the new battery in, and it would still turn over like hell but not start. I started pulling fuses to check for blown ignition, starter, etc, but nothing was blown. With every pull of ...

| When to change timing belt? - 2001 Civic EX | 14 Sep 2005 02:11 GMT | 4 |
What is the recommended mileage to change the timing belt on a 2001 Civic EX? I thought it was 90,000 miles, but the dealer is saying it should be changed at 75,000 miles here in South Florida because it considered "severe" conditions. I drive 90% highway miles and have a hard ...
