| Civic Hybrid -- gas/electric usage | 03 Sep 2005 17:43 GMT | 28 |
Does software control the switching of the power source between gasoline and the battery pack? Or is it more of a mechanical element that controls it? Is it possible for Honda mechanics to "adjust" how much battery power

| Poor gas mileage (2005 Honda Civic LX AT) ~25 MPG | 03 Sep 2005 16:42 GMT | 41 |
According to spec the gas consumption is 29 in the city and 38 on the highway. However, I can drive about 300 MI before the "low fuel" light comes up (which according to the manual would allow me to drive additional 25/30 miles). Most of the time (90%) I drive on a highway.

Morning, Does anyone know where fuse 39 (50A) is in the dash? I'm following this autozone diagnostic procedure list and they say to check " the No. 39 50A fuse on 1992-95 models in the dash fuse box before testing. "

| Accord 4 cyl vs. 6 cyl | 03 Sep 2005 01:23 GMT | 45 |
I'm buying my first Honda and decided upon a 2006 Accord, but I'm not sure if it should be a 4 or 6 cylinder engine. I realize the 4 cylinder gets better gas mileage, but wonder if it has enough power to carry two passages, kayaks and associated gear. Also, I understand the 6 ...

| Why does Civic Hybrid have that Roof Antenna | 02 Sep 2005 21:40 GMT | 10 |
The subject line says it all. I refused to buy a VW because of that ugly antenna sticking up, and now the Civic Hybrid has one. There must be something really good about them, because they sure look ugly compared to an antenna that's imbedded in the read windshield. So, what's ...
