| 2003 Accord Brake Problems | 26 Sep 2005 13:18 GMT | 10 |
I have a 2003 Accord V-6, manual transmission, that just turned over 30,000 miles, and the brakes are terrible. I am taking it in next week for rotor work, and this will be the third time the rotors have been machined. And, to add insult to injury, I have to pay for it. Honda ...

| Engine swap in 92 Honda Civic DX | 26 Sep 2005 05:26 GMT | 6 |
I think that my son has blown the engine in his car (haven't looked at it yet, it is 150 miles away). Assuming that the engine is dead, how hard is it to put one of the low

| Fuel pump relay | 26 Sep 2005 03:33 GMT | 8 |
I finally tracked down my intermittent no start condition on my 92 prelude Si. If it is a hot day (90+), the car needs to sit until cool or it won't start. For some reason it wouldn't start today when I tried to start it this afternoon after it sat all day in the afternoon sun. I ...

| 89 Accord Xmsn dipstick location | 26 Sep 2005 03:29 GMT | 1 |
Who was the skinny armed engineer who designed the location for the dipstick? It's almost impossible to get to it without extremely long needle nose pliers, unless you want skinned knuckles.

| I go see the mechanic Monday morning... | 26 Sep 2005 00:16 GMT | 6 |
for a general tune up thing but he's a good honda specialist. (really). The only problem i have with my 91 Accord is that there seem to have an electrical problem related to the fuel pump. First it will often not start on a hot and humid sunny day while parked in the sun. YEAH ...

| 2000 Accord SE paint cracking on hood | 25 Sep 2005 16:40 GMT | 6 |
Our 2000 Accord Special Edition has paint cracks on the hood. The cracks look like little "crows feet". The paint color is dark green. The car only has 50000 miles on it. When I took the car to be checked out by the Honda dealer they were baffled. The cracking doesn't appear ...

| Wheel bearing followup #2 | 25 Sep 2005 16:16 GMT | 1 |
I checked 4 1990~1991 Civcs wheel bearings today. You get some staragne responses when you call your frinds and ask "Can I come over, jack your rear wheels off the ground and listen to your wheel bearings?"

| Ivory Color Inside???? | 25 Sep 2005 15:19 GMT | 6 |
Just went to the showroom and picked out a 2006 Civic Sedan for lease. The wife unfortunately wants the Shoreline Mist color scheme which comes with the Ivory Interior fabric. IMHO, the Ivory will take a beating with stains and dirt from the kids. Does anyone have

| Financing vs. buying for cash | 25 Sep 2005 11:17 GMT | 12 |
If you have the $20,000 (US) or so to spend on a new car is it wiser to buy the car for cash or take out a loan? One salesman advised me it is better to get a loan so you pay less for the car upfront in case it is in an accident as the insurance will only pay up

| 06 accord DRL's | 25 Sep 2005 05:57 GMT | 16 |
is it possible to get the factory or dealer to deactivate the DRL's? I HATE daytime running lights (had them in my lumina) they are "supposed" to be a safety feature but I really see it as a ploy between car makers and light bulb makers in order to sell more lights. I don't believe ...
