I have a 96 civic, and until just recently everything was fine.  I've
noticed lately that when I step on the gas, it really doesn't matter which
gear, it hesitates to speed up and becomes kind of jerky.  Just an hour
ago, I was going up a pretty steep hill in 2nd gear, maybe 15 mph, ...

A friend has a 97 CRV that occasionally stalls at stop signs. After the
engine dies, it easily starts back up. When it dies, it stops
immediately without any sputtering. The vehicle is 2wd automatic and
has 124k miles. Any ideas what might be causing this problem.

I'm getting a little sqeal when I start driving in the morning.
After applying the brakes,it stops.
If I need rear brakes (not disc),are they difficult to install?

Driving at highway speed, my car began a noise (like stones in a can). I
pulled over and discovered it had died, would not restart and that all the
engine oil had drained out. Tried putting more in and the oil just ran out.
Any idea what's wrong before I see the dealer?

I have a 1993 Prelude vtec new discs and pads fitted but after brakes are
hot ,car run 10 minutes heavy vibration on braking.Checked steering joints
all seem ok no play to speak of.
Only thing I can find is the slide pins that the caliper rides on are worn

The front doors on my 91 4 door civic are starting to sag when
opening. Does anybody know of a repair for this. Do they make a hinge
pin kit (pin and bushing) for these cars similar to the American made
vehicles?

If you can help me? I have a 1989 honda civic, and I am no mechanic. But I
am learning as I go. This is my problem: When I try to start the car I
hear a click and then if I try it again the same click and then the
posative battery terminal starts to smoke a little. Help me please.

My civic has some rust at the base of the rear left wheelarch. I've

The panel seems to be at least partly hollow which explains the hole to
the left side. I've peered inside and I think it's a fibreglass

I am renewing the pads in my 1999 accord but cannot get the piston to
retract to enable the new (thicker) pads to fit.
Any idea's what to do?

On my 1997 Honda Civic EX (Canadian), sometimes my air conditioning works
and sometimes it does not work.   If I turn it off and on, it tends to start
to work and blow cold air.  What could be my problem?

Both front doors on my '91 civic 4 door sedan are starting to sag.
Does anybody make a hinge pin kit (pin and bushing) like they do for
the American made cars? Anybody have any luck in doing so?

i have a 89 accord that when it sits in the sun apparently gets so hot it
just will not start untill it cools off .i mean like in the parking lot
not started all day just wont start. is this a common problem? i was
thinking its vapor locking  but i dont know roll the windows down ...

My car has neither cigarette lighter nor ashtray (but I want them).
What's the best way of installing after-market accessories?
