Is VTEC always stamped in to the valve cover to identify a VTEC engine? I'm looking at a 1995 Accord LX Sedan, 4 cylinder but not sure if it's a VTEC or not. (The VTEC logo isn't stamped into the valve cover.) thanks,

I guess everything has grown. I was just comparing the dimensions of my 94 Accord LX 4 cylinder to the current 4-cylinder Honda models, and it looks like my car is closer to the current Civic than the Accord.

I have a 1994 Honda Accord US Wagon. When the motor stops the brakes have no boost at all. I also have a Nissan Primera & the booster retains its vacuum when switched off, sufficient for about 3 applications of the brakes, which is normal.

I'm working on a project, adapting the dual point TB injection from a 90 civic DX to my 77 civic 1200. I'm going to use an aftermarket EFI computer (megasquirt) but have a couple of questions someone with a factory manual might be able to answer.

The noise level is either worse or more bothersome. Probably due to more frequent and longer highway trips. a sound level meter shows (72-79 db) at ~70mph depending on road surface
