Pinprick hole in power steering hose --please help!15 Oct 2005 01:32 GMT7
I have a tiny pinprick hole in my metal tubular power steering hose.  Is
there a simple way to plug this hole?  Is there a special glue or sealant I
can use?  To replace the hose looks like a very difficult task.  I want an
easy and cheap way to fix it.
CRV Auto Shift Lever Question14 Oct 2005 23:00 GMT2
I'm considering the Honda CRV (either new or late-model used), but have a
question about its oddly-mounted shift lever (I will be shopping for an
automatic transmission).
Does it operate like a standard steering-column mounted shifter (which you
2005 Honda Accord Euro14 Oct 2005 20:50 GMT4
I don't know whether you get this vehicle in the USA but it is certainly a
beauty.

I travel around 600kms (370 miles) per week.  The equation is 328 kms
Any chance for a 4 cylinder hybrid Accord?14 Oct 2005 20:26 GMT11
The 4 cylinder Accord is fast enough for me.  I was hoping for a hybrid
that can get 40 to 50 mpg.  I think the hybrid companies should stop
tuning for speed and go for max fuel economy with decent acceleration.
Any chance the diesel Accord might come to America?  What is the gas

Craftsman timing lights--which one?14 Oct 2005 18:46 GMT7
Sears offers two "heavy duty" timing lights, one for $50 and one for
$70. The description of the more expensive one notes "0-60 degree
advance scale for more accurate and easy timing measure". Is this a
useful feature, worth another $20? Or will the $50 one be sufficient?
2000 Civic EX bucks at 3k-3.5k RPM14 Oct 2005 18:17 GMT9
My 2000 Civic EX starts bucking around 3k rpm if I am under slow or
steady throttle. If am accelerating hard it does not do it.
The car also drops rpm and occassionally stalls at traffic lights. I
have changed the plugs and fuel filter to no avail.
Protector Plus?14 Oct 2005 16:21 GMT2
I saw this on my Civic invoice. Anyone know what, exactly, this is? It
cost $289 whatever it is. I'm going to ask the dealer about it but
thought it a good idea to get a second opinion here.

Appreciate thoughts on    all season tire replacement for those who have
replaced those Michelin Symmetry tires.
I have reviewed posts on Ody Club and also tirerack.  I am thinking about
Goodyear Tripletred, Michelin Hydroedge,  and Yokohama TRZ.  I live in NJ so

Hi chaps,

Code P0135 On Civic14 Oct 2005 06:56 GMT8
I have a check engine code P0135 in on my 98 Civic, which is supposed to be
the primary oxygen sensor heater.
Is this the oxygen sensor nearest to engine - just in the top of the exhaust
manifold, or the one further down?
Accord's Michelin tires are poorly made14 Oct 2005 03:57 GMT6
2005 Accord with Michelin "Energy" high-gas-mileage tires,  5000 miles on
the odometer.
One tire develops a crack in the sidewall.  I called the 800 number on the
warrantee pamphlet and was told that it was caused by a road hazard.  If dry
HELP: 1995 Civic Over Heating14 Oct 2005 03:53 GMT16
Asking about my cousin's 1995 CIVIC DX (With A/C) Overheating and need to
know some things.
Given my limited knowledge, I checked with the engine at idle, after a cold
start, that the right most fan is not on. The left most fan (exclusively for

Are head lamps easy to replace on 97 Honda Civic? How do you remove
them? Do you have to dismantle the lens and everything?
