| Honda Civic 1993 Should I replace or not ? | 08 Oct 2005 18:19 GMT | 14 |
I have 1993 Civic and I payed $1700 CAN ( $US 1500 ) in repairs last year ( electrical, exhaust etc). Wandering if it is better to buy new $20,000 car - average cost per year is $2000 on 10 years - pretty much the same as maintaining the old one.

| Re: Hybrids: Single-Driver Lanes | 08 Oct 2005 07:54 GMT | 19 |
I noticed a couple of things about having the "diamond access okay" stickers on my Honda Civic Hybrid. As someone pointed out, Hybrids, especially the Prius, get better mileage poking along in the heavy traffic than they might in the car pool lane.

| Advice on 96 Civic pushrod problem | 08 Oct 2005 04:23 GMT | 31 |
Hello,,,,I am not an expert on cars, so wanted a bit of advice. Took my 96 civic(117k miles) to the dealer regarding a thunking in the engine, pretty much only when going up a very steep hill and in 2nd gear. I was told it was probably the cv joints and/or axle. Well after a ...

I thought that it would be easy to pop them out and put in new tweeters, buuuut, the thing won't pop back in! I kind of heard something fall when I popped one out. What happened? Why such a problem? Where can I get new ones? I think I cracked my glove box too! On the inside ...

| Windshield Repair | 07 Oct 2005 21:31 GMT | 12 |
Got a couple of bad, approx. 6-inch cracks in my 1991 Civic LX's lower dr. side windshield tonight, emanating from a quarter size mash mark, presumably from a rock hitting the car at relatively low speed. Sounded like a bullet. Darn.

| Cleaning EGR valve 2003 Odyssey | 07 Oct 2005 13:05 GMT | 9 |
I have the infamous problem with the EGR valve on my van. I know I can bring it to the dealer to get it fixed, but is there a way I can just remove it and clean it? It seems very easy to remove, but do I need to replace the gasket? Nobody but the dealer sells this gasket.

| clutch shudders in '98 Accord | 07 Oct 2005 12:44 GMT | 5 |
'98 Accord DX, standard transmission with approx. 85k miles (150k km) The car shudders as the clutch engages in 1st gear. I assume it's a clutch problem. However, it's only noticable when going into 1st gear. The problem gradually goes away as the car warms up.

| 1993 Honda Del Sol Transmission ? | 06 Oct 2005 23:25 GMT | 5 |
I'm looking to purchase a 1993 Honda Del Sol SI (automatic). It has 76,000 miles on it and is generally nice & clean. The only issue is that it seems to have difficulty downshifting while coming to a stop (feels like from 2nd to 1st). When it downshifts at that point, the

| oily spark plugs | 06 Oct 2005 21:20 GMT | 31 |
I checked my spark plugs today. They look ok except for oil all over two of them. Not on the top where the spark is, but on the treads. The two with oil on them also have a brown stain on the bottom of the ceramic area(spark side). And the print that says "NGK R" is faded on only ...
