I have posted a similar message last week regarding my 98 Civic LX ignition timing. I have originally replaced the distributor, but my ignition timing was retarded by aprox 14 degrees. Thanks to the usefull comments on this group, I have checked my timing belt alignment.

I have a 1988 Honda Prelude that has noise coming out of the speedometer that sounds like brake noise. It is erratic and sometimes almost goes away but then it comes back. Has anyone had this problem or know of a simple solution?
