rust proofing (in Toronto)05 Oct 2005 12:51 GMT3
For the last few oil changes, mr. lube is saying me to have rust
proofing done on my 93 Accord with 204500 km on it (rust free so far).
Their rust proofing price is $89.99
I contacted one independant mechanic and he is asking for $140.00.
Brake problem05 Oct 2005 03:00 GMT1
1994 honda accord EX - I removed the left rear caliper and noticed that one
half of the inner pad was glazed and the other half was brand new. Could
this indicate a bad caliper.
98 Honda Accord coolant05 Oct 2005 02:12 GMT4
I have a 98 Honda Accord at about 77k miles. About a month ago when I
changed a light bulb, I realized that the coolant reservoir was empty.
I never paid attention to the bottle before because I assume the guy
who change my engine oil should fill it up. The engine temp is pretty
Honda OE Power Steering Fluid Colour05 Oct 2005 02:03 GMT1
I was just wondering if anyone knows what colour the Honda original power
steering fluid colour would be/would have been on a 1992 Honda Accord EX,
F22A?
I checked the power steering fluid tonight, it was low, but besides that, it
1991 civic rear bearing changed04 Oct 2005 21:45 GMT5
Just wanted to thank  "TeGGeR®" and "Jim Bean" for their advice
on changing the rear hub and bearing. The nut cam off with the
first try with the correct air driver.
I did mine and my friends in about 3 hours. While we were at it
Sputtering 1994 Honda Civic04 Oct 2005 20:19 GMT5
My 94 Honda Civic is sputtering. Acceleration is weak and the sputtering
causes a bit of a jerky ride.  The sputtering happens  inconsistently at all
different speeds including idling.
The temp gauge just shot up close to the red -- don't know if this is a

A/C has become heater, help04 Oct 2005 19:36 GMT1
My honda city os six months old. Since Saturday, when I turn on the A/C. it
blows lukewarm air. Turning the A/C off and leaving the fan on gives the same
result. When I turn on the A/C, the tiny green light on the button lights up
but nothing else happens.
2006 Civic EX04 Oct 2005 16:42 GMT4
I've been a Civic car owner for years and just picked up the new 06 EX.
WOW is all I can say.  Very impressive redesign.  My only complaint so
far and I've only just driven it home from the dealership is there is a
reflection from the radio display on the top of the windshield.  It ...
Most fuel efficient speed to drive?04 Oct 2005 16:40 GMT24
Back in the 80's I remember my dad telling me that the most fuel
efficient speed to drive his car was at 45 mph, and that it was a spec
that was published for many car models.
With the gas price absurdity these days, I'm just curious if is there
04 Odyssey Mileage04 Oct 2005 14:19 GMT1
I have a 2004 Odyssey with 29,300 miles.  I average around town (pretty flat
here in Ohio) around 13-14 mpg with lite acceleration.  Hwy mileage is
pretty decent around 22 mpg at 70-75 mph.
How does this compare to others?  I was getting 10-12 mpg and dealer did a

Honda S2000 oil starvation/ main engine bearing problem04 Oct 2005 03:41 GMT18
I was considering buying a 2000 or 2001 Honda S-2000, but then a mechanic told me about the 'dirty little secret' some of the earlier models of the S-2000 had.  Honda eventually fixed it in later models, but it was an "oil starvation" problem in earlier models and it could cause ...
Honda Care for Pre Owned Odessey04 Oct 2005 01:21 GMT6
I purchased certified Odyssey in October 2004 in Atlanta. At that time
I did not buy extended warranty as finance person did not mention that
I will not be able to purchase Honda Care later on. In September 2005 I
started checking with dealers to get Honda Care. With 68K miles on it ...
Dealing with Flood Cars04 Oct 2005 00:23 GMT1
I found this article at
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/collectorcarcentral/
and I thought it might be helpful with all the jerks trying to sell flood damaged cars.
Thanks
