| Need a new rear main seal on 99 civic | 05 Nov 2005 17:16 GMT | 17 |
Just got the call. The seal is cheap, but they have to pull the trans to replace it. Cost is over $500. Is that reasonable. I know how to fix the little things, but I don't think I could pull the trans on my 12.99 Rhino Ramps from AutoZone.

Probably doesn't matter, but I have always wondered: Is it better for the clutch to hold it in during a long stop, or shift into neutral and let the clutch out? Does it make a difference? Anybody?

| 97 Civic power windows. | 05 Nov 2005 01:45 GMT | 3 |
97 Civic, right front window, suddenly starts jumping out of the forward track on the down movement. It's a bit of work to get it back in..... no obvious damage to regulator. Lubed the track and linkages, so it's a bit smoother, but pops out when it's about half way down.
