All,
I need to access a screw on Accord '06 Sedan that holds in-cabin Fuse
box. In order to do that I need to dismount plastic cover that covers
Fuse box cover and hood opener. I unpluged the clip on far top corner,
Aftermarket CV boots better than OEM?02 Dec 2005 08:11 GMT2
I had somebody try to tell me that there's a new manufacturer of CV
boots out there that uses thicker rubber than Honda OEM.  Unfortunately
I don't remember the name of the maker.  Anyone heard of this?

leasing an 06 accord02 Dec 2005 06:34 GMT3
I had to order an 06 accord because they didn't ahve what I wanted ANYWHERE
(2.4 5 speed with nav EX-L) I got the price down to what I think is fair
(24,800 with the rear wing spoiler installed) so the last hurdle will be
leasing, I've heard from a lot of people saying "don't buy ...
96 Accord ABS problem02 Dec 2005 05:59 GMT1
I have a 96 Accord EX 4cyl 5sp. When I stop the car (even very gently) the
ABS comes on and you can feel the pulse in the brake. When the car starts
the ABS light goes on after a few seconds it goes out, but after a stop it
comes on and stays on until the car is restarted.
Low mileage with my '97 Civic EX02 Dec 2005 04:31 GMT11
Guys
Purchased a used Automatic '97 Honda Civic EX 4 months ago with just
56K miles on it. I drive about 1500 miles/month - 90% highway miles
(60-75 mph). I do oil changes promptly at 3k miles. Last week my car
Bosch Spark Plug (Platinum +4)02 Dec 2005 01:43 GMT16
My friend just called and asked me what plugs should he get for his
2002 Civic Lx (5 Speed). He seems to be very inclined for Bosch Spark
Plugs (Platinum +4).
I am not very knowledgeable person in cars but keep reading this group.
Front speakers in '05 Accord DX/VP02 Dec 2005 00:01 GMT9
I just got over my fear today about removing the door.  Once I saw how easy
it was, I was only thinking about changing the speakers.  I did the front
tweeters, but now I need to do the woofers.
When I removed the door, I noticed that the speaker was not screwed in as I
CRV 4x4 capability01 Dec 2005 21:47 GMT1
Has anyone tried the CRV's 4x4 capability, i.e. mud, snow etc,
and not just mounting the curb when dropping the kids off at school
Curious as to how capable it is before I take it to a shoot and
get it stuck in a muddy field - wondered if it can handle it or whether
Wary about my recent Accord purchase - any advice01 Dec 2005 20:46 GMT3
I ordered a new 06 Accord EX-L a couple of weeks ago.  I checked prices
with several dealers via e-mail and phone, and one was considerably
lower.  They called and said that they had made a mistake and quoted me
an EX without leather by accident, but would still honor the price for
Aftermarket CV Boot on Accord01 Dec 2005 20:23 GMT3
Recently, I noticed that my CV boot was seperated.   I know the hassles
in order to replace the boot.   Its a lot of work.   So I called my
friend who owns 2 Accords and I asked him for the neccessary tools.
He told me on his 93 Accord, he put on a split boot and is working just
2005 Honda Civic LX gas mileage01 Dec 2005 20:02 GMT37
When I picked up my Honda Civic LX that I just bought on 9/7/2005, it
had a full tank of gas. I drove it over 400 miles, did a fill up,
divided the gallons into the miles and it came out to 39 mpg. I thought
this was great, since I had the AC on at various times, did more city
Pesky radiator leak...can't decide what to do01 Dec 2005 18:19 GMT23
I've got a '90 Mazda Protege (173K miles) and it's still in
amazingly good condition, and runs like it did when one-
day old.  It's been very well maintained all these years,
which is why I still have it.  Here's the deal:  I put in a
1998 Honda Accord problem starting but eventually starts01 Dec 2005 17:14 GMT8
Yesterday my 1998 Honda Accord kept turning over but wouldn't start.  It sat for 3 days idle.  I kept turning the engine over for what seemed to be at least 2 minutes and then the engine slowly hesitated and eventually started but I had to keep the ignition switch in the start ...
DRL - Daytime Running Light01 Dec 2005 17:04 GMT1
Got an 89' Accord winter beater and the DRL would sometimes go out for a few
days to a few weeks then miraculously come back on. Anybody have any
solutions? I'm thinking it maybe a simple thing like a relay but not really
sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
