Changing O2 sensor on '03 Accord20 Dec 2005 01:02 GMT3
Just some observations.
I have been getting an intermittent code of P0141, which indicated that
I needed to address the secondary heated O2 sensor.  The Helms manual
specifies a number of tests to perform, but lacking some of the specific
Trip Computer & '98 Accord19 Dec 2005 19:25 GMT2
Has anyone found a clean installation of a trip computer for a '98 Accord?
Any Ideas?
Thanks,    Al
LOL! This newsgroup is a hoot!19 Dec 2005 19:14 GMT8
Sorry guys, but I've been getting a LOT of giggles from "answers" I have
seen posted here about mechanical problems. There sure is a LOT of
misinformation spread about Hondas and cars in general.
All of you who casually use a wrench... Be careful what you read here!

Looking to Install CD/MP3 player in my 2000 Accord - Need Advice19 Dec 2005 17:54 GMT2
I'd like to replace the factory AM/FM/Cassette player in my 2000 Accord
with an MP3/CD player. From reading some previous posts I'm pretty sure
I don't have to worry about any Honda CD/radio codes because it only has
an AM/FM/cassette player. The problem I have is finding a ...
2003 CRV AC Compressor19 Dec 2005 17:51 GMT1
We just had to have the AC compressor replaced on one of our 2003 CRV's
because the clutch came apart.
Honda replaced it under warrantly but I'm worried that the same thing might
happen to our second CRV.

My 88 Honda Accord dash light goes on and off at random intervals.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,

CR-V is a SNOW CHAMP!19 Dec 2005 16:14 GMT5
Well, my newish (May 2005) CR-V SE with AWD passed the test! This week we
had big snow/ice here in the hills of Pittsburgh. The the 'V was a CHAMP
going up my driveway (garage at the bottom) with the stock DUELER tires.
Great vehicle. Better AWD than the Mercedes products IMHO. I ...
New 2006 Civic (UK) .19 Dec 2005 09:44 GMT6
what do people in here think of it ?
Whilst I think it is pretty radical (maybe too much ?) I am disappointed at
a few items :
1) no air con as standard across the range
Difficult to start my 99 civic immeidiately after a trip.19 Dec 2005 06:55 GMT1
I have a 99 civic and recently it develops a starting problem. Normally
the first start of the car is ok. After a trip, it won't start again,
so far I can manage to get it started after waiting some time. When
can't get the car started, on turning the key, the dash lights become
CR-V -versus- Rav 419 Dec 2005 06:53 GMT21
I will be hoping to buy perhaps sometime next year.
Currently leaning towards the Rav 4.
Which is better, the Rav 4 or Honda's CR-V ?
Consumer Reports rates the CR-V better, but the Rav 4 is actually better,
99 civic timing belt and valve train probs19 Dec 2005 04:57 GMT3
I have had a couple previous posts regarding my sister's 99 civic.  The
dealership put the car back together after a catastrophic failure of the
timing belt.  There is valve damage which is audible at idle.
Funny thing is though, when the car is initially started and the engine is

replaced timing belt, now big oil leak19 Dec 2005 00:07 GMT6
I have a 2002 Honda Accord, four cylinder.
I hit the 100k mark for mileage already because of my long commute and
had my mechanic change the timing belt.   He also replaced the water
pump as Honda recommends and flushed the radiator.
windshield wipers18 Dec 2005 12:55 GMT18
I've found Honda OEM inserts to be superior to most aftermarket
offeings.  Anyone have a viable alternative?
