87 Civic 4 door 13 Jan 2006 07:04 GMT12
I just purchased this car it has 212K. I replaced the ignition cap and
rotor, spark plugs, fuel filters and changed the engine oil.  It seems to
run a bit rough, it hunts at idle slightly.
The real problem is when I turn on the headlights, the idle jumps from
96 Accord 2.2 Cruise Ctrl problem13 Jan 2006 06:34 GMT3
For about a year, my cruise control would work only once for each time
I started my car.  After that one shot, if I tried to use it again, it
would try for a second and then then turn itself off.  Now it has
gotten worse and I can rarely get it to latch.
Tyre wear on Prelude13 Jan 2006 03:56 GMT5
My 92 Prelude had a brand new set of tyres (tires) fitted when I bought
it, and after ~25,000km (~16,000miles) the rear ones are almost bald
and the front are still OK. Normally it's the front tyres that wear
quickly on front wheel drive vehicles, I thought. Could this be
CV boot replacement 95 Integra12 Jan 2006 22:54 GMT2
I'm going to attempt to replace my outer CV boots soon and have a
question about removing the drive shaft. It seems that I have to remove the
damper fork bolt, the lower ball joint and the spindle nut. Is it possible to
just remove the outer half of the shaft and work on the ...

Transmission Lubrication12 Jan 2006 05:10 GMT14
How do I lube a 4 speed manual transmission, in the 88-91 Civic Hatch? I
know I have to use gear lube, but where do I put it?!?
Blower motor replacement--1991 Accord EX12 Jan 2006 05:00 GMT12
It appears that the heater blower motor is kaput in my 1991
Accord EX. I verified that the fuses are OK and that there
is voltage at the connector (2P, as I recall.)

I'm looking to buy a 2006 Honda Accord LX (4 cyl) soon and I would like
to know the prices any of you in this forum paid for LX (and other
models like EX etc) and your buying experience.

01-CRV exhaust rattle 2300rpm12 Jan 2006 01:56 GMT5
I originally posted a number of times on the forum with this issue.
For those who have followed the thread, the cause and repair is
now known.  The problem was a gasket between the 'A' pipe and
the catalytic converter which leaked as the car was moving and
88 honda accord choke12 Jan 2006 01:08 GMT2
I've been reading some of the posts and my situation is similar with
the idle problem and such except as it has continued to get colder the
problem has changed somewhat. Now when I start the car it wont even
idle at 2000-2500. it simply cuts off- and then wont start again. I

Door lock relay - 90 Accord11 Jan 2006 21:25 GMT1
Anyone ever try to take apart and repair/rebuild the door lock relay
on a 90 or thereabouts  accord.  My doors lock individually but do not
lock all together from the drivers seat or the key.  Manual indicates
it is that relay.  Before I take the panel off, I wonder if I should

"Door open" switch location 1991 Accord EX?11 Jan 2006 19:03 GMT7
My driver's door switch is no longer working; the courtesy
light won't come on and, more importantly, I get no warning
if the lights are on or the keys are in the ignition.
Where is this switch located? I assume it is inside the door
