Dark windows for CRV (think babies and todlers)19 Jan 2006 23:38 GMT8
We have a '99 CRV with stock (slightly gray tinted) windows.  Is there
aftermarket windows available for the thing that are dark?  The sunlight is
causing my 17 month-old to scream, particularly when the sun is so low.
I'm not sure I like those "treatment" coatings I've seen---all ...
Where are the hybrid Accords?19 Jan 2006 21:47 GMT10
I've been waiting for an '06 IMA Accord since September (I know, I
know- wishful thinking on a September arrival, but I thought they'd at
least be here by the end of the year).  The dealerships in Georgia
that I've visited are telling me that they have been "in port" since

There was lots of water from heavy rain.
When I opened the hood, a splash of water dropped onto the alternator.
Will this likely cause any problem ?

I gave up on my local honda dealer and made an appointment a the honda

hondas are for loosers19 Jan 2006 01:34 GMT36
I owned a honda once -- my biggest mistake.
Because of this experience I take care to consider the torque description of
any potential car I buy.
The max. torque should be available at a low RPM.
heater19 Jan 2006 01:32 GMT3
I have a 2003 honda civic ex and the heater control that adjusts the heat
levels does not seem to be working properly.  If you put the control all
the way down to cool it should cool off right away, correct? And visa
versa on cool to hot?  It doesn't.  Is this the ambient air ...

2001 Honda Accord: Brake Light + Fogged Windows18 Jan 2006 14:40 GMT10
This weekend I purchased a 2001 Honda Accord EX with 58k miles.
I had it checked by my mechanic who said it was in great shape except
for a front right baring that needed to be replaced.
I told the dealership, and they said no problem and they fixed it (they
Idle problem on 1.6 Honda18 Jan 2006 11:41 GMT5
Can I pick your brains for a problem here?
Car is a 1997 Honda Civic 1.6 Auto with 80k odd miles.
Problem is with the idle but only once the car has warmed up. It
becomes erratic running between 700rpm and 2000rpm all by itself.
99 Honda Civic Maintenance Question18 Jan 2006 05:18 GMT3
I have a 99 Honda Civic, and I have about 112,200 miles on it.  I had a
full maintenance (brakes, timing belt, etc) at 100,000 miles and since
then, the maintenance light has came on twice.    The first time, I turned
it back to green by pressing that one button, but now, it came on ...

thing in the morning...it remains on for a bit until the car is
warm..and then it's gone...I don't see it anymore...
2005 Accord check engine light17 Jan 2006 22:38 GMT3
It does not stay on long, but it does stay on long enough for you to see it.
I had the tries rotated at the dealer, but they either forgot to turn the
light off or left it on.  How can I turn it off?
