I finally got my 06 accord (ex-L 4 cyl, with navi, 5 speed stick) in. it's
sweet, still trying to figure out all the controls with the Navi. one thing
that suprised me is it didn't come with the michilin's as I expected, but
rather Bridgestone Turanzas. Not sure how I like them ...

I have a 89 civic when the motor is at normal temp and i stop the motor
feels like it wants to shut down when it is in gear. When i when i take

out of drive or reverse and put it nuteral or park it stops and idles

A friend of mine is selling her Honda Civic 30th anniversery SI Coupe.
I don't know a lot about cars, but I'm a very quick learner. I'm trying
to look up specs for that version of the Civic, and I can't seem to
find them anywhere. I want to know what's special about the 30th

Aparently there were Transmission problems in these models. Some of
them were replaced by the dealers in warrenty period.
If a car is in good condition (80K km) but its transmission has been
replaced by the dealer 2 years ago, will buying it be too risky?

I have a 2000 civic hatchback and im considering doing an engine swap.
The engine has almost 200k and my mechanic says I am having problems
with the catalytic converter. Are there other honda/acura engines of
other makes/years that can be placed in this auto? Also are there

I have a 1996 Honda Accord (Canadian Version, Automatic)...today when
driving to work, and whenever I stop on a red light...I find that smoke
is coming out of the hood...not sure why..
I kept driving and when got to work...I popped the hood..and smoke kept

I just had the TCU in my Honda reset by the dealer.  He says the auto
trans is wearing out and currently the left / right transmission axle
seals need replacing.  
Couple of questions come to mind:

I just posted a topic called my (90 accord idles rough when stopping), I
drove the fuel down low and filled 3/4 up of Amoco ultimate or 92 octane
for those who don't know what Amoco ultimate is, now the problems seem to
be gone is there a gas tank or fuel pump problem when the tank ...

The guy read a long list of stuff that he said was needed at 30K miles.
Total cost would be: $480.00
Seems a mite high.

Question regarding 2006 Pilot...
I'm told by one dealer that it only has manually controlled power door
locks... and another one says it can be programmed to lock the doors either
when you put the car into drive or when it reaches 7 mph.

93 Civic 4 door driver side brake light is not working. I checked the bulb
and swapped it with the one on the passenger side, the bulb is fine. This is
a double filament bulb. One is the tail light (1) and the other is for the
brake.

OK, I had to remove the P/S pump to do some engine work. I put it back in,
put the belt back (running in the same direction), bled the system, but it
still squeals when I first start the car until it has warmed up.
I tried tightening the belt, but even if it is tighter than the ...
