JDM engines....05 Feb 2006 20:59 GMT5
Hi..
Just replaced my sons 91 civic si with a JDM from Toronto.
Same everything with a couple of exceptions...notably the
exhaust manifold is a dual port (at the collector end).
2001 Honda Civic transmission 73K05 Feb 2006 16:03 GMT2
My automatic transmission reeves up pretty high between shifts. Two months
ago the dealer replaced the fluid and changed the shift point to higher
revs. Things are not getting better. Since I have 73,000 miles on the car,
and Honda has some kind of 8 year/80,000 mile warranty on ...
2001 Odyssey Clock Light out05 Feb 2006 15:17 GMT3
My clock light is out on my Odyssey.  It appeard that I should be able to
pry the clock out of the dash, but it seems that I would damage the dash in
the process. I called the dealer for advice and they said to bring it in for
them to replace as most people do damage the dash.
2007 models?05 Feb 2006 11:34 GMT1
I used to think it was false advertising when the "New" models came out in
the fall of the prior year. I saw ads in January 06 for the 2007 models. Is
there any stop to this farce?

98 Accord starting question05 Feb 2006 02:34 GMT5
Sometimes after driving, and then parking,it will not start right away.
The engine cranks,but won't fire.
After a while,it starts right up.
Any reason for this problem? Someone said it might be a vapor lock
D16Z performance options?04 Feb 2006 21:51 GMT6
I've been wanting to boost my 91 civic for some time and I've been very
frustrated. Please help me out.
Can someone please point out the best route for upgrading my D16Z block to
accept a moderate to large shot of NOS with a mid-sized budget, say $8k. I
I don't get it. same price for Accord and Civic?04 Feb 2006 21:25 GMT8
For $20k, you get an Accord or a new 06 Civic.
I don't understand what is Honda's marketing strategy at this moment?
Are they giving all compact  market to Corolla?
There was a price difference before 06 Civic cam out.
Can you really get a good car at Government Auctions?04 Feb 2006 20:39 GMT10
Is an Auction worth it for buying a car? There's info on Google yes,
but I'm curious for current first hand experience.  Any experiences
good or bad?  I already know the basics of not to buy if title isn't
available, to not pay more than bluebook (duh) and to do a search on
Stumbling / Stalling when Releasing Clutch04 Feb 2006 18:53 GMT4
1991 Civic Si with ~150k
Tonight I went grocery shopping and drove around and let the car warm
up. The car sat parked for around 45 minutes in 30 deg. F weather. I
drove about a quarter mile then and let the car idle as I ran into a
93 Honda Civic DX Vibrates/Stumbles on Accel.04 Feb 2006 18:10 GMT7
After numerous hours of searching on google groups, I believe I have a
better understanding on my car. My car has 127K, bought it with 118.
I bought the car this past August and here is what I have done to it.

Honda accord 92 cpe rain leaks04 Feb 2006 15:56 GMT2
Oh man,
I have multiple leaks into the trunk of my 92 Accord Coupe. I found the
biggest one, the runoff from the trunk lip would fill up the taillight
on the LR outer, and when it got half full it would leak into the
1991 Prelude Electrical04 Feb 2006 07:12 GMT3
My 1991 Prelude had a power steering leak that basically poured into the
alternator.  The battery light came on and the car eventually stopped.
After recharging the battery, the vehicle was restarted and ran for about 3
minutes before the battery light started coming back on and ...
transmission oil change?04 Feb 2006 04:55 GMT9
My 2001 Civic has 117k miles on it. I've heard from some that I shoudn't
have the transmission  power flushed or it might cause problems. Instead,
I'm told to just drain it 3 or 4 times. Comments?

Marvel Mystery Oil04 Feb 2006 03:25 GMT22
I've heard good things about Marvel Mystery Oil. Just curious how it
works since you can put it in the oil and gasoline tanks and does it
work well still with newer cars, I have 05 Civic. Also, what's the best
time to put it in like early/middle/late life of oil for oil. And for
