I have a 93 Accord EX (with 241,000 miles).  The A/C compressor is not
getting power when the A/C is turned on.  The interior A/C light is on
along with the blower and the temp dial turned to cold.  The condenser fan
does not come on, but it does work because it will kick on when ...

93 Accord EX A/C Problem14 Mar 2006 03:49 GMT1
I have a 93 Accord EX (with 241,000 miles!), and the A/C compressor will
not come on.  The interior A/C button lights up and the blower is turned
on.  The condenser fan does work, because it turns on when the engine gets
hot enough during idling to kick on both the condenser and ...

Out of curiosity, what is a typical financing deal for buying a new
car? Let's say the car is $20,000. What is a typical down payment, APR,
length of loan, monthly payment?
10 year old Civic problems?13 Mar 2006 23:47 GMT13
I'm shopping for a reliable long distance commute vehicle and I
think I've settled on a Civic. Will stick to an LX or EX for the
extras like cruise control. Probably going to pick up something in
the 95-98 range with 100-150k miles on it. Anything that commonly
Advice needed on buying used car from private seller13 Mar 2006 22:31 GMT4
I'm thinking of buying a used vehicle, probably a Honda CRV or Toyota RAV,
mainly because of their reputation for reliability, decent gas mileage, and
a certain (if limited) ability to handle high-clearance dirt roads.
My question is not so much about these particular models, but ...
ORVR VALVE13 Mar 2006 18:37 GMT2
HAVE A 2002 HONDA ACCORD EX.  AFTER A LOT OF ANALYSIS, THE DEALERSHIP FEEL
A FAULTY ORVR VALVE IS CAUSING SPORADIC CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODES.  ALL
OTHER SENSOR AND CANISTERS IN THE EVAP SYSTEM APPEAR TO BE WORKING
NORMALLY.  THE DEALERSHIP SPENT TWO HOURS DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM, AND ...

I have a '91 Accord EX 4 door automatic (white) that has a very sick
engine. I'm going to save the front bumper and hood and right front fender.
Car is just north of Akron Ohio. Anyone out there need something off it

95 Integra right half shaft replacement13 Mar 2006 05:24 GMT1
I'd like to replace the right shaft on our 95 Integra Automatic - it
started ticking when you turn a corner so clearly the CV joints are
bad. I'll do the left one as well, but may wait a couple of weeks do do
that.
Timing belt noise....ticking 93 Accord13 Mar 2006 05:10 GMT12
Just replaced the timing belt on my 93 accord.  Used OEM belts, seals,
and a GMB water pump.  Car has 215k and is the second timing belt.  All
seems well except for a rapid ticking sound which seems to be coming
from within the timing belt upper cover.  Ticking noise goes away when
putting CV axle back...darn it!13 Mar 2006 04:11 GMT2
I am replacing a cv axle on a 92 accord.
I got the old one out w/o problems, but I just cannot seem to manage to
lock the new one back into the tranny. The splined end goes in 1/2 way
and then seems to hit on something and  not move any further. Is it a

preceeded to move foward the car died. this car is an at, but it
reminded me of when i was learning to drive a 5 speed and the engine

Did you compare with Mazda3?13 Mar 2006 01:43 GMT10
I am sure a lot of Civic driver here had experienced driving a Mazda3.
I am wondering why you chose the Civic instead of Mazda3?
Do you feel Civic is "quieter" than Mazda3?
I am deciding between these two models, actually I am more biased to Civic
