RE: TACHOMETER - HONDA CIVIC LX 199817 Mar 2006 05:32 GMT2
I've posted a number of messages on this forum and I appreciate everyones
help, so thanks to all.
My concern today surrounds my '98 Civic Lx's lack of a tachometer, which I
would find very useful as my car is equipped with a manual transmission.

"Check Engine" light returns17 Mar 2006 02:39 GMT13
My check engine light was on a few weeks ago, and although it took
about a week, it finally went off, so I figured the problem must've
been a loose gas cap or something.  Well, after a few days, the light
just came back on.  I haven't refilled my gas tank or anything

I have tried almost everything (I think) to bring the black body side
moldings back to life on my 95 Civic.  I know for a fact there are many
92-95 Civic's out there with the same problem. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.

How did they take my accord?17 Mar 2006 01:41 GMT6
I have/had a 2002 Accord that was stolen.  When it was taken, the car
was locked, with the alarm set.  Granted, it was the factory alarm.  My
question -- how did they do that?  I thought the accord has some sort
of chip in the key that was supposed to help prevent (not always
Check engine light (EVAP system)17 Mar 2006 00:46 GMT11
A few weeks ago, my check engine light came on, and I figured out which
code it was, and it was the code that says there is something wrong
with the EVAP system.  The dealer said it could be a loose gas cap, or
a leak somewhere.  The light went off after a week or so, so I thought

Anyone with a new Civic willing to share real-world gas mileage? BTW, I
really love the look of this gen Civic. Not an "economy" car anymore.

97 Accord Tuneup? 16 Mar 2006 18:23 GMT9
Would like to put new pvc valve, distributor cap, plug wires, plugs, oxygen
sensors on 97 Accord 2.2 SOHC 16 valve. Of all I have been reading, it looks
as though the OEM parts are the way to go. Any thoughts? Anything special to
look for in changing above? Did I miss anything? ...
High Pitched Squeal Civic!16 Mar 2006 13:44 GMT1
I have a manual 93 honda civic with a d16z6 engine in it. Lately it has
been making this really high pitched squealling noise and I can not
figure out what it causing the issue. If you are in the car and have it
in neutral and give the car gas you don't hear the squealing. Plus if
Some Stupid question about  Timing Belt16 Mar 2006 09:25 GMT4

air mix control cable16 Mar 2006 09:00 GMT1
I own a 95 accord and the air mix control cable is either very loose or
