Adding remote locking to 2002 Accord LX09 Apr 2006 03:33 GMT1
I recently found that you can buy a package from Honda to add remote
locking to 2001-02 Accords that do not have this option.
Has anyone on this group done it and if so, any pointers?
Thanks

am wondering what the cost might run me.
Anyone in Toronto specifically who can recommend a good mechanic to do the
87 Accord Headlight Problem09 Apr 2006 00:44 GMT1
I have an 87 Accord that when I turn on the headlights, sometimes the
high beams come on (not at full power but a little dimmer).  When I
drive, the high beams kick out and the low beams come on and vice
versa.  I have checked the combo switch and it works fine but can't

Don't solder  Oxygen sensor Wire????08 Apr 2006 16:42 GMT25
I've read a mechanic book. It says on Oxygen Sensor page that
do not solder Oxygen sensor wire because it might cause
misleading the voltage.  I'm kind of doubt if soldered  wire
would make different voltage reading from unsoldered wire.
Accord 05 VP Poor Gas Mileage08 Apr 2006 14:24 GMT21
I bought an Accord '05 Value Package (AT, 5 Speed) in August last year.
Since then I've been trying to measure my gas mileage. The sticker on
the car showed the EPA estimate as 24(city)/34(hwy) mpg. Now, I've been
driving mostly on highways since. I would split it as 70% hwy, 30%
Son wants New Wheels/Tires08 Apr 2006 14:24 GMT3
Hi all.  I bought my son a 2005 Civic SE last year.  It's equipped with 195/60
R15's and he wants to put 18" TSW Kayalama Hyper Black wheels on it.  (!)
My questions are whether or not the car will support wheels this large and
could it eventually damage the car and/or void ...
choking in low revs08 Apr 2006 07:03 GMT2
Hi, I have a problem with my CRX ED9. This problem doesn't occure
regularly...no ECU error... example: I stop the car on the crossroad. I
shift the 1st gear and accelerate... when I reach 2000 rpm car starts
to choke and there is no response to additional push of gas pedal...

Recently, the right rear door has started to not unlock and lock with
the rest of the power locks in the car. At random times, it will work
for a few monents, but it soon goes back to not responding.
leaking strut on honda civic 2002 EX08 Apr 2006 05:09 GMT2
Just passing 10.000 miles, I had my oil changed at a private dealership
this time since my warranty ran out last october. The mechanic called my
attention to a leaking strut on my passenger side, recommending
replacement.
