Horn Problem 1992 Civic06 Apr 2006 03:42 GMT2
I have intermittent problems with my horn on my 1992 Civic.
Sometime it works sometimes it doesn't.
My son-in law has been a certified Honda mechanic for a number of years.
He usually works on my cars.
Rear brake shoes in 2001 Odyssey 06 Apr 2006 03:23 GMT12
Our car has 40K miles (pretty low) and lots of that has been highway. I am
hearing a metal scraping sound that goes away after the car is driven for 10
minutes. The front disc brake pads are about 8 months old - and the sound is
obviously coming from the back wheels.
Spark Plugs - NGK or Denso 06 Apr 2006 02:45 GMT3
Picked up a 98 Civic LX..Owners manual calls for either NGK ZFR5F-11 or
Denso KJ16CR-L11..
Does it make a difference; one or the other?
Thanks,

I have a 91 Civic Wagon that ran great but one day just wouldn't start
anymore. I have spark at all plugs. I've dumped gas into the throtle
body while cranking and still not even a sputter. The timing belt is
intact and I checked that is hasn't jumped time. It uses oil, so I

CV boots05 Apr 2006 05:35 GMT2
Had a outer CV boot replaced on 01 CR-V and its slinging some grease on the
wheel, is it possible that there was to much grease installed and its being
forced out when the axle flexes.

2003 Accord EX V6 Manual Transmission05 Apr 2006 04:33 GMT4
This car's transmission strikes me as somewhat confusing. After owning
the car for about a year (bought used), I still don't think I have the
shift points figured out and 2nd gear sometimes gives me trouble. It
won't smoothly engage, or sometimes, when i'm going between 15-25 or
Civic timing belt deflection05 Apr 2006 02:28 GMT5
I need some expert advice please.  My 95 Civic EX had the timing belt
replaced by Honda almost 80,000 miles ago.  I am worried about the timing
belt tensioner going south because it was not replaced and now has 193,000
miles on it.  The engine is making a little unusal noise which I ...
2005 Accord whining at 80mph?05 Apr 2006 02:26 GMT5
I have a 2005 Honda Accord Ex Sedan, Automatic with 13,800 miles on it,
and since I got it when I reach 75-80 mph there is this faint whining
coming from the engine that sounds a little like a turbo charger. I
have it in D using all 5 gears when this happens and use Shell Plus 89
putting CV axle back...darn it!05 Apr 2006 01:19 GMT5
I am replacing a cv axle on a 92 accord.
I got the old one out w/o problems, but I just cannot seem to manage to
lock the new one back into the tranny. The splined end goes in 1/2 way
and then seems to hit on something and  not move any further. Is it a
