I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX.
Recently I had an antifreeze leak and had to have a hose replaced.  The
car was getting so hot that it started idling.
With that fixed I then noticed that there is an abnormal amount of heat

have about 95000km on the car with the original timing belt.   I was told I
could go until about 120000km..  Is this the case or should I be getting it
changed soon?

Where to begin? I have a 92 accord LX. Recently it was overheating
because of a cracked radiator. I replaced the radiator, but afterwards
it was losing coolant and burning lots of white smoke. I figured it was
leaking into the engine (blown head gasket maybe) I didn't want to go

LX.  Thanks for the great answers..
I took off the tank cap and noticed GREEN coolant in it.
Is genuine Honda coolant green or is it the wrong kind in there..

my 2001 honda civic passenger window is stuck in the 'close' position.
i replaced the window motor, unnecessarily, and when reassembling the
switch to the passenger door the window went straight up, so i quickly
disconnected the switch.

was peeling on the passenger side door. It's not much but I was

I have a 99 civic sedan LX 4 door and the manufacturer reccomends 185 65 14
for tire size, but I am getting a good deal on some used tires that are 195
65 14.  Is is o.k. to go with the 195's or will this be a problem?

Dear Honda experts,
I have a honda civic cx 1999 hatchback and when the engine is cold
(first 5 kilometers) I sometime have a very strange problem.  It's like
if the engine is not answering when I accelerate.  Here is an example:

05 Accord V6, it takes a few minutes to wake up pimping either hot or cold
air.
I understand that heat will take a while, but why AC?

burn the excess gas, containing Stabil, in my '01 Civic to get rid of it.
Any harm in adding, say 1/2 - 1 gal, to a full tank?

story in the May 'Car and Driver'.
    The car reminds me of the '86 Civic Wagon that I owned for a short
time. Wish I could find some specs on that old car to see how it stacks
