Brake pedal sinks partially when applied going down a hill at slow
speed. A pump or two will bring it back up. This has been going on for
a few weeks. No noticible loss of fluid in brake reservoir. Could a
faulty booster cause this?

Car won't start.  I think the distributor rotor and crankshaft are out of alignment17 May 2006 23:55 GMT4
While I was changing the alternator, I turned the crankshaft pulley (while
the distributor was out), and I think the timing btw the cranshaft  and
the distributor is out off. The distributor rotor turns when I try and
start the car, but nothing else happens. Does anyone have a clue ...

I have found someone who got Honda to pay for the repair to his 98
accord out of warranty.  the message board is

I own a 1996 Accord EX with 4 cylinder VTEC engine with
137K miles on it.  I mostly drive this car in city and when I drive
it faster than 55 mph, the check engine light turns on (but not always).

Can any one please tell me whether a bad Intake Air Temperature Sensor
(IAT) or a bad TW (Coolant Temperature sensor, or Water Temperature
Sensor) will cause the engine not to fire up?
