Cleaning EGR valve? -2001 Accord 4 cyl18 Jun 2006 12:11 GMT5
Has anyone done this?  How?  Any special precautions or tools needed?
(My car often stalls when I depress the clutch to the floor while coming
to a stop.  Searching the web, the symptom appears to point to a
fouled/dirty EGR valve and that it can be cleaned to remedy the situation ...

I have a 1998 Accord V6, and have recently got the "Check Engine

that it is P0401 - EGR Flow Insufficient". From a little research on
google, found that this might be a known Honda Issue (TSB-99-085) and

Does anyone have a paper manual?
If so, please check the front seat bolt sizes on page 20-60, & post
what size is shown.
My 92 paper manual shows 1 - 10mm & 3 - 8mm bolts.
Radio Antenna Snapped Off...17 Jun 2006 23:08 GMT3
of my '94 Civic. What are my options for a fix? Haven't taken off the
plate thingy with the 2 screws yet to look inside, and I don't care
much for the dash removal scenario I read somewhere. There must be an
alternative.
Common complaints from Honda Fit owners17 Jun 2006 21:41 GMT15
I've been reading various blogs today, mostly from Honda Fit owners, but also a couple of reviews
from professional auto critics.  Here's a list of the most common complaints about the Honda Fit
long wait time for individual orders, up to 2 months
dealers are jacking up the price ...
Timing belt question17 Jun 2006 19:08 GMT13
I have a 97 Accord.  I read that sometime after 1997, Honda started using a
better type of timing belt that lasts longer.
If I get my timing belt replaced by a Honda dealer, will they replace it
with the better timing belt, or will they still give me the older type of

'99 Accord CV Boots Suppliers17 Jun 2006 03:43 GMT5
TeGGeR® and Rich Gray convince me that replacing worn CV boots alone is
better cost/effort than replacing the entire axle.
I've browsed and found several suppliers that sell a CV Boot "Kit" (boot,
fastening clamp/band, and grease).  Price range is $12 - $16 per kit.  The
94 Civic 80amp fuse issue17 Jun 2006 03:28 GMT9
I go to get into the car, and my belt started to whine - but this was
usual, I just haven't had a chance to adjust the belt tension since
initially putting a new belt on.
I drove less than 20 feet, and the car jolted to a stall. I say

camping.  I'm just not crazy about the look of the car.
Does anybody know of any other Suv that can do that?

Trouble starting engine17 Jun 2006 01:28 GMT8
I have a 1999 Honda Accord LX.  I can start the car fine.  Drive it for 2
min.  Shut the engine off.  Then it takes 3 or 4 times to start.  It will
start then die.  If I can catch it in time I really give it the gas and
its okay.  Fuse to fuel pump okay

I have a 2003 Pilot EX-L with 86,000 miles sitting in a transmission shop
while American Honda decides if the are going to replace it or not.  So I
have a few question:
1. Does the Pilot have the same tranny as the Odyssey?
91 Accord transmission question16 Jun 2006 22:55 GMT6
