| Wheel diameters for '89 Prelude? | 14 Jun 2006 16:07 GMT | 3 |
I recently acquired a well-tuned 1989 Prelude (not the AWS model) that is quite fun to drive. Fuel-economy is atrocious for a 4-banger, however; and I suspect the tiny 175/60R13 tires are to blame -- as the engine is whining at near 4000rpm going 75mph. 1st gear is also a joke:

| New key can't be programmed? | 14 Jun 2006 14:34 GMT | 1 |
Having bought a second-hand Accord Executive (UK, 2001 automatic 2ltr) we thought it prudent to order a new key from our local Honda dealership, as there was only one key supplied with the car. The key was obtained from Honda UK and programmed by the dealership, however, it ...

| 98-02 2Dr v 4Dr Radio compatibility | 14 Jun 2006 01:02 GMT | 6 |
Shopping for replacement radio. I have an Accord 2dr EX V6. Anyone know the compatibility of 2dr v. 4dr radios? Is it a wiring thing? Or a mounting thing? Just wondering what to include in my search since half of the jacklegs on ebay (bulk salvage rescue types!) think that

| 1990 accord- door is stuck shut | 13 Jun 2006 23:01 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1990 accord with power locks. The driver's side door will not open and I think it has something to do with the power locks. The lock seems jammed and , even though it looks like it is unlocked, the door will not open , as if it were locked. I've tried everything to get ...

My air was working just fine until I left the car parked for a few days... Now I can turn on the air, and the green 'activated' light comes on, but nothing happens. When I turn on the air, I get no compressor kicking in or even drop in

| 1990 Accord 2DR door | 13 Jun 2006 22:11 GMT | 2 |
Anyone have this problem? The drivers side door is seemingly jammed. The door handles work OK and all the mechanical levers for the locking mechanism and door latch seem to be working but it will not open. I noticed on the passenger side that when you open the door latch, the ...

| Honda 80,000 mile warranty | 13 Jun 2006 21:43 GMT | 2 |
My wife has a Honda 2002 CRV-Lx. with 73,000 miles. Does anyone know about the engine powertrain control module which is covered under the warranty? I have been told a strainer needs to be replaced by the independent dealer. The Honda dealer saids she might need a new engine. ...

| AC Seems dead | 13 Jun 2006 18:01 GMT | 2 |
I own a UK '97 Prelude 2.2 VTi which seems to have a fault with the AC. The green light illuminates but there is no nice cold air or a dip in the revs. Is there anything that I can check or is it a visit to a AC technican?

| transmission question | 13 Jun 2006 04:00 GMT | 9 |
My wife's 1999 Accord has this situation. When accelerating at a normal pace and the engine (automatic) shifts into 3rd gear and you then push your foot down to pass (i.e. getting on the expressway) and the engine down-shifts into second gear, there is a slight hesitation

I presently own a 2003 Honda CR-V and am on my 2nd round of tires of the same brand that came on the Honda :-( initially. I don't like the tires, had to replace them b/4 30,000 miles and the tires were AWFUL in snow/ice driving. X( .

The short story is I need to put one of the Hondas up for sale, and I am having a tough time determining which one must go. I currently have a 2000 Accord EX V6 Coupe with 90,000 miles on it and my wife's 1997 Civic EX Coupe with a 5 speed manual and 67,000 miles

| Can't shift out of park | 13 Jun 2006 02:29 GMT | 5 |
I own a 98' Accord 4dr automatic. I love the car and have had it for some time now. Other than the typical "drivers side door lock switch not working" issue, my only problem is with the shifter. There are times after I put the car into "Park", I am not able to press the
