While driving today my Civic '89 the the engine started rattling. It seemed like it was low on gas so I filled up and still the same thing. This problem is happenning only at low gas. I parked and then smelled burning coming from the hood. Any idea what it is?

Im looking all over for help on this. I just bought a 93 civic 4 dr, and it is slower than hell. I did a tuneup, wires, plugs, oil, lube ect.... She wants to go but it isnt working. Ive put a new muffler, dist cap on as well. I cant find any problems that could cause it.

I recently bought a new CRV (SE). While driving especially at low speeds, the car sounds like a truck, when the leg is on the gas pedal. It does not happen all the time. For speeds above 60, the car is very smooth. Any one had this same problem? Thanks J James
