1989 Accord DX Coolant Leak13 Aug 2006 09:13 GMT19
I came home today after driving and had coolant in the driveway
originating from the left side front dripping near the oil pan bolt.  I
put the car on ramps and tried to find the leak.  The leak does not
occur when the car is running, only after you shut it off (which is
92 Civic losing coolant and overheating13 Aug 2006 06:47 GMT10
I just bought a 92 Civic 1.5L with 193,000 miles.  It runs great when
the coolant level is full.   However, after driving for about 30-40
miles, it loses enough coolant to cause the engine to overheat.  There
is very slight evidence of white smoke exhaust, although it almost

Multiple oxygen sensors: Some information13 Aug 2006 02:48 GMT12
Pursuant to a recent thread on the number of oxygen sensors in the 1986 or
1988 Honda Pelude, I asked my mechanic about this.
It seems the reason the '88 Prelude had two O2 sensors right beside each
other had to to do with control over emissions. It's well known that OBD-II
2000 Honda Civic Won't Start13 Aug 2006 01:00 GMT4
I have a 2000 Honda Civic DX, and I can't figure out what's wrong. I bought
it 2 years old with 50,000 Miles on it. It now has 138, 000 Miles on it, and
won't start. I checked and cleaned the rotors and plugs, and all 4 plugs send
spark. After I cleaned them with alcohol, and ...

i was on the expressway yesterday in my '88 honda civic sedan and it lost

Bypass solenoid valve13 Aug 2006 00:43 GMT7
I just was told that my bypass solenoid valve was bad and needed to be
replaced.  First of all, what is it and what does it do?  The
mechanic's accent was so thick that I could barely understand what he
was saying.  I know it is part of the EVAP but I am not sure of its
Civic Del Sol Won't Start13 Aug 2006 00:41 GMT5
My 1995 Del sol won't start all of the sudden. I have NEVER had any problem
with this car before. Yesterday I was leaving a parking lot and the car
sputtered and died. It will crank and crank, but it won't start. In several
web searches, I found to possibilities: ignition module ...

the moment.

93 del sol si clutch noise12 Aug 2006 15:20 GMT2
i've search high and low through tons of forums and newsgroups but
haven't found a good answer to my dilemma.  There's this noise that
sounds like crushing aluminum cans coming from the engine bay whenever
i step on the clutch and release it while pressing the gas pedal.  This
'90 Accord post-repair coolant leak12 Aug 2006 14:04 GMT6
In the past two and a half years I've replaced my '90 Accord's
radiator, water pump, thermostat twice, and just had the cooling fan
motor and temp sensor replaced after the car started getting hot even
while moving fast (without boil-over). Following that last repair, I
