Empty tank of gas or full tank of gas?07 Aug 2006 18:26 GMT4
Dear posters.  If you are leaving the country and will leave your car
behind undriven for a long time, do you keep an empty tank of gas or
full tank of gas, I know it's one or the other but I forgot.
95 Del Sol VTEC intermittent fan problem07 Aug 2006 16:48 GMT6
The heater/AC blower has gotten slightly flakey a few times lately where
it just doesn't turn on with the switch but after trying it several
times it eventually starts and runs fine.
I can see in the Honda manual a  few places that could cause this...
2007 civic07 Aug 2006 15:46 GMT1
When is honda coming out with the 07 Honda civic's.  I know the 07
accords are already showing up on dealer lots.
Also, are there any minor detail changes planned with the 07's, such as
colors, options, etc.  I know that if there is anything, it would be

Hi, my 1997 Honda Civic is in the parking lot at work right now and

1) Ignition won't start at all when I turn the key. When I first tried
this a couple hours ago, I heard no noise when I turned the key, just
'97 Civic Shifting Roughness07 Aug 2006 06:09 GMT12
I have a '97 Civic that I bought recently.  It has a 5 spd tranny.  If I am
reeaally careful letting the clutch out, I can make it shift smoothly.
Shifting like I have any other car I've driven tends to be kind of rough and
jerky.  It has 100K miles on it.  After I bought it, I ...

debating getting a new honda06 Aug 2006 23:50 GMT13
Hello all, we currently have a highlander for our "family car", V6 and
AWD, which means about 18.5 mpg for us (UGGH)......well, gas prices
have us reconsidering its legitimacy.  We are thinking about getting
either a new Civic EX, Accord LX, SE or EX 4 cyl, or new Camry LE or SE
Honda Savage Yard06 Aug 2006 19:13 GMT2
You all probably already know this but, I didn't until last week. There
is a Honda/Acura only salvage yard in Johnson City TN. This is about 30
minutes from my home. Anyway I had been looking for a rim for my 01
Prelude and a friend ask me if I had checked there. Found what I needed
How long can a battery last? More than 10 years?06 Aug 2006 13:41 GMT10
I have a '97 Prelude that is 9 1/2 years old now and is still running on the
original battery.  I heard of a '97 CRX today that is also on the original
battery.
Are these now typical lifetimes?
'89 Honda Accord AC switch06 Aug 2006 12:14 GMT1
'89 Honda Accord LXi 3DR MT
About three years ago, pressing the AC switch caused a short which blew
out the heater control unit. Easily fixed by replacing the 10 amp fuse.
I decided to let the matter rest and ride without AC.

My H23 engine died so I want to swap the engine/trans and going to a
H22. I have heard that there is a technical bulletin out to replace the
timing belt tensioner on the H22.
Is this something I want to do before I install the engine?
