used tires on new car?02 Sep 2006 01:07 GMT1
Recently I bought a new honda odyssey. I can see some wornout on the
front tires. while the rear tires are really band new. The car has only
5 miles when we bought it. Now it has about 200miles. Initially I
thought the wornout on the front tires was due to the first 5 miles.
Honda Service Manuals01 Sep 2006 21:34 GMT8
I am the owner of a 1992 Honda Civic VTi.
Does anyone know if any service manuals in English cover this car?  As
far as I have been able to tell the car wasn't sold in the UK that
year, so that's not an option.  And the Haynes and Chiltons manuals are
87 Accord-Engine Overheated01 Sep 2006 14:51 GMT4
About 2 weeks ago, my 87 DX Accord engine (240,000 mi) severely overheated (temp
gauge red-lined) and the engine stopped. Car sat at the curb over night. Had the car
towed to a local garage the next morning. When they went to look at it they noted:
1. The car started right up (and ...
Inner tie-rod ends01 Sep 2006 14:43 GMT2
I posted this on alt.autos.nissan, too (1987 Nissan Pulsar) but thought I
would do the same here as the Honda groups get more traffic and responses.
It's a pretty general question, also.
How do you remove the tie rods to get to the inner ends? The outer ends are
95 Honda Prelude S: Click and won't start01 Sep 2006 14:36 GMT6
My 95 Honda Prelude S (auto transmission) sometimes won't start. It
happened randomly twice this two weeks. When I turned the key to start,
I hear click...  click... click... and the car will start only after a
few tries (5-7 times). All lights were on inside the car, and the radio

Honda I-4 smoothness01 Sep 2006 04:17 GMT21
How smooth is the I4 in Fit vs Civic DX/LX/EX vs Accord vs Civic Si ?
No extolling of the virtues of the V6 anchors, please. Keep your V6
boats to yourselves.
Thanks.
98 Prelude Base Rear Caliper01 Sep 2006 03:56 GMT15
Recently I was out of town for 6 month from January to July (I live in
NY by the way so I get some corrosion) and I had my parking break on
the whole time. When I test drove the car after I got back, I noticed
that both my rear brakes were "stuck" to the rotor. So I figured I'd

Brake Pedal still mushy after brake job01 Sep 2006 03:28 GMT49
Myself and a friend of mine just put new brakes on my 1991 Honda Prelude
Si. We did the rear brakes, replaced the calapers, rotors, pads and then
bled them all, front and back. We bled them all 3 times and refilled the
brake fluid in both the booster and the ALB system. After all ...
