Not sure if you all remember my issue. I had massive power loss after a mechanic replaced my distributor. After a long time messing around with the timing, the timing light, and timing markings the car is running nice and strong again.

| squeaky brake on a 1994 civic | 20 Sep 2006 22:32 GMT | 1 |
I changed my brake-pads not so long ago. In doing so, I noticed that there's a small metal clip that holds the pad in place that is broken. It looks like its there to dampen vibrations possibly. The brakes work fine (no pulling or anything like that) but it squeaks all the time.

My 93 civic EX is idiling at a low RPM. I adjusted the idle screw until it was almost out of the car, the RPM's never went higher. Anyone ever seen this type of behavior? The car idles at a pretty constant 250 - 300 RPM after it is warmed up.

| Thumping Accord | 20 Sep 2006 16:16 GMT | 3 |
My 2000 Accord has a rythmic thumping that increases when with speed and with turning, much worse on a right turn. Tires are good, tire pressure is good. It seems to come from the left front. I'm told the CV joints are ok, that it was from scalloped tires from alignment problems.
