Adding an O2 sensor?14 Sep 2006 21:05 GMT44
My 95 Civic ESi (Philippine domestic version) is similar to the U.S. EX
version, I think. It has a PH16 engine (PGM-FI, 16Valve, 1.6Li, SOHC
non-vtec, ECU code P27) but has no oxygen sensor. This is common
knowledge here, and there is a plug where the sensor should be. My
CRV slurping noise when accelerating14 Sep 2006 07:54 GMT4
I just took my Honda CRV to the dealer to get the timing belt and water
pump changed since I have 112,000 miles on it already. Now I've been
noticing a slurping sound sort of like the one you hear when sucking
throught a straw when you've run out of almost all the liquid and just

The garage is wanting $1,200.00- Insane!!! And that doesn't even
include changing the water pump or balance shaft (?) belt.

When there is a problem with the ignition switch
the car can stop even after the engine has ignited.
(I 've experienced that already!)
Can the same thing happen when the main relay has gone

DRL light13 Sep 2006 04:17 GMT2
I have a 99 Canadian model Odyssy. The DRL (daytime running lights) warning
light comes on intermittantly, with an annoying buzzing sound. Per the
manual, the DRL light goes away if I turn on the headlights. Is this
something I can fix myself? or will I need to take it to a ...
Civic oil consumption12 Sep 2006 23:00 GMT7
Have a 2001 Honda Civic with 58,000 miles that is using about a quart
of oil every thousand miles.  Had the local dealer do a consumption
test, the technician confirmed and documented the usage and advised it
was excessive.  However, the service manager reports it as "normal",

98 Odyssey exhaust rattle -- catalytic converter?12 Sep 2006 22:22 GMT3
I have a '98 Odyssey with just under 150,000 miles on it.  For the last
5,000 miles or so, I've been hearing a rattle from underneath.  It
sounds exactly like someone shaking marbles in a can.  It's worse under
acceleration, though it quiets some when the car is fully warmed up.
05 CR-V and steering wheel audio remote12 Sep 2006 16:13 GMT2
I recently purchased a new CR-V and thought that I'd replace the factory
audio with new pioneer mp3-cd-player. I've been trying to figure out
what I must do to get steering wheel remote to work. At Pioneer Finland
I was told that there is no converter adapter from honda remote to ...
Nav problem on '0612 Sep 2006 13:53 GMT2
I just brought home an '06 touring editon with Nav and DVD and I've got
a list of things that I didn't notice when I test drove it that are
driving me nuts, but the one that is really bugging me the most is that
the maps on the Nav are missing streets and I don't live in the middle

Wierd Magnetic Fields?12 Sep 2006 13:27 GMT24
OK...   This isn't really a "problem" with the car, but it has me
baffled...
I have an 06 Civic Si.  It is a great car, but it didn't come with a
compass, which I have always found invaluable, being that I do a lot of
'01 Honda Accord Dashboard Lights -- General Question12 Sep 2006 12:23 GMT1
I have noticed for sometime now that the dashboard lights in my '01
Honda Accord seem awfully dim.  I've adjusted the brightness, but
they're still soooo dim compared to my other cars.  Is it possible to
"upgrade" them ?
Replacing Dash Lights -- General Question12 Sep 2006 11:53 GMT2
I love my 2001 Honda Accord, but I've noticed for some time that the
dash lights seem quite dim compared to my other cars.  Is it possible
to "upgrade" the bulbs (or LED's I'm assuming) to something that is
brighter?
