1996 Honda Civic - Strange Transmission Symptoms - Revs high, slow to accelerate03 Oct 2006 20:09 GMT4
My civic has been treating me great until about six months ago.  About
that time it started with this strange grumbly whining sound whenever
it was in gear and driving, mostly when accelerating.  About a month
ago, I noticed that I had a very small range of accelerator-pedal
Brake question03 Oct 2006 19:53 GMT9
Are the brake disk retaining screws necessary? I had to drill mine out and
one source said they are only in there to hold the disc in place during
assembly at the factory.
As usual, thanks in advance.

Cabin air filter replacement - '98 Accord sedan02 Oct 2006 18:38 GMT2
Sat. morning I replaced the cabin air filters in my '98 Accord sedan.
Although the process wasn't difficult from a technical standpoint, it did
turn out to be a bit more time consuming than I would have expected for a
cabin air filter replacement. My '02 IS300's cabin air filter ...

I got a manual transmission 2006 Civic DX-G at the end of May, and have
since put on over 10500 Km. During that time, I have averaged 6.87
Litres/100 Km on the whole 10500 Km, 5.71 on a 3000 Km road trip and as
low as 5.24 on some sections of the road trip. So I certainly have no ...

Maintenance Schedule for 2006 Civic02 Oct 2006 04:31 GMT19
I just bought a 2006 Civic LX AT Sedan.  In going through the manual

My old 1998 Civic had a booklet indicating what kinds of service the
car needed at different mileage intervals.  Is there such a schedule
Civic  AC Compressor02 Oct 2006 01:59 GMT5
Four years and 40,000 miles after replacing the compressor, expansion valve

Bad Timing Belt?01 Oct 2006 23:19 GMT29
The timing belt on my '95 Civic ESi (1.6L SOHC) is about 4 years old,
and was used for less than 40K kms (25K miles). But I notice it had
deep cracks on the outer (smooth) side, at each gap between the teeth.
The cracks are mostly very straight, and so the belt looks "segmented".

I have a 1994 Civic with 5 speed trans and wanted to know what years of
Civic could I pull a trans from to fit for replacement. Can a Fifth
generation (1991-1995) transmission fit through the model range or are there
differences?
