| 95 Integra oil leak | 08 Nov 2006 23:51 GMT | 3 |
I have a problem with an oil leak which I had thought was related to a bad cylinder head gasket. I have replaced it but from the picture it appears that the circle gasket to the left of the cylinder head is leaking. Does this gasket pop out with a screwdriver or is it held in

| 2005 CR-V Dies when turning | 08 Nov 2006 21:29 GMT | 5 |
My wifes 2005 Honda CR-V stalls when driving around corners. She has an EX, with a 5 speed manual transmission. It happened to her once, and the dealership said she was low on gas. But, the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, and the tank was full. The power steering fails,

| 92 Civiv EX with Cabin Gasoline Odor | 08 Nov 2006 19:43 GMT | 1 |
Thought I'd put this out there an ask for help from the gurus. Maybe I'll get lucky that my problem may be a common one. A couple days ago I started noticing a gasoline odor inside the cabin. I do not smell anything under the hood but do smell a slight odor in the trunk.

| 99 Odyssey Inner Tie Rod | 08 Nov 2006 14:02 GMT | 5 |
Has anyone replaced their inner tie rod? I have a '99, but I assume other years are about the same. Is it relatively easy to do? It looks a bit tight to get the 2 wrenches in there. And how did you crimp the boot band without the Oetiker tool? This is the drivers side.

| Valves adjusted every 30,000 miles? | 08 Nov 2006 06:41 GMT | 20 |
I read in this newsgroup that the valves in a CR-V needed to be adjusted every 30,000 miles? Does it say this in the manual? Can a DIY do it? What about an independent shop? Thanks

| Tranny Class Action - I'm objecting | 08 Nov 2006 04:42 GMT | 9 |
I received a notice today that there is a class action lawsuit in progress over transmission failures. The class action lawsuit would result in an extension of the warranty. In the fine print, it also mentions that the lawyers are looking for

| wtf? 93 Accord front engine seal problem/s | 07 Nov 2006 22:49 GMT | 5 |
First, it blows the front idler shaft seal and barfs mucho oil. Replaced that one, and the crank and cam seals. The cam seal isn't awfully tight, and it's a shallow hole. Sure enough, it blows the cam seal, idling in the drive.

| 2001 TCS Light - Error codes? | 07 Nov 2006 16:42 GMT | 2 |
When I'm moving along and let totally off of the gas, sometimes the TCS light will come on (bringing with it the service engine soon). I've read the code, but all I ever see is the same old EGR por clogged error (been meaning to get that fixed as soon as money is

| 2002 Civic ignition key activation | 07 Nov 2006 16:26 GMT | 1 |
Had a plain metal key cut for my 2002 Civic and discovered it turned the engine over, but wouldn't fire it up. Electronics in the plastic key handle. Got the right key, now need to program it to my car's ignition.

| '98 Honda Accord Loud Transmission Noise | 07 Nov 2006 14:49 GMT | 3 |
I have a 1998 Honda Accord EX V-6 (~135K Miles). Sometimes when I shift the car into reverse, it makes a very loud noise (as in so loud, that passengers will sometimes gasp slightly). I've taken it into my mechanic, but since the noise is intermittent I can't reproduce it.

Well? Anyone had/having good luck on their new V6 tranny from a 98-02 Accord? Furthermore, it appears Honda is NOT using Howard Engineering to reman their trannys anymore but is doing it in-house. Would any of us have
