Honda Element13 Nov 2006 22:39 GMT2
We bought one of the first Honda Elements. We're in our 60s. We love this
car. The first problem we've ever had with it showed up last Thursday. Ran
like it had water in the gas. A lot of water. Cost $761.00 to fix. Replaced
the injectors, platinum spark plugs and some other ...
Maintenance Required light13 Nov 2006 19:47 GMT9
2004 Accord. The maintenance required light came on yesterday at startup and
goes out after 10 blinks. My research tells me this is the built-in
notification to have service done (i.e. oil change) but I do that type of
service my self. Car has 55K miles and was just serviced one ...
Replacement Shcok Absorber/Strut Advice   ??13 Nov 2006 18:05 GMT11
I have 208K miles on my 2001 Civic, and need new shocks and struts.
This is a straight commuter car..110 miles per workday.  I'm wondering
if the Monroe Sensatrack shocks/struts sold by Tire dealers, or similar
brands are good or should I pay the premium price and go with Honda
Honda to settle transmission lawsuit13 Nov 2006 15:47 GMT3
Looks like Honda may agree to out-of-court settlement that heavily
favors... you guessed it ... Honda. On one hand Honda will extend the
warranty, but Honda still decides if you need a replacement, so guess
what Honda's going to do?
Leak rain 92 Accord Coupe13 Nov 2006 12:56 GMT2
OK All,

Now I have a leak that comes down the trim panel just ahead of the
passenger door.  I took out the glove box and still cannot guess where
Is the FIT a reliable car?13 Nov 2006 06:19 GMT4
I was considering the FIT Sport auto for my next car in 2008. Has anyone had
any troubles with their FIT's at this point and if so what happened? What is
the ride, noise levels and comfort like? How about the stereo, engine
performance etc?
Inner Tie Rod REplacement13 Nov 2006 02:59 GMT1
I have a 1992 Honda Civic with power steering and wish to replace the
drivers side inner tie rod.  I have the factory manual which shows the
inner tie rod being removed after the rack was removed from the car.
Can I remove the inner tie rod without removeing the rack from the car?
Honda Transmission Settlement13 Nov 2006 02:47 GMT1
When I received the notice about the transmission settlement, the
notice explained that the warranty is extended 9000 miles to 109,000.
As far as I have warranty documents for my 2000 Accord, the powertrain
warranty is 36 mo / 36,000 mi.
Removing rear seats in 2005 CRV13 Nov 2006 02:15 GMT4
I am getting ready to go on a cross-country trip and would like to
remove the rear seat on my Honda CRV to set up enough space for
comfortable sleeping.  I've tried moving the rear seats all the way up
and/or laying back the front seats so they're even with the back, but
Moonroof visor13 Nov 2006 00:26 GMT6
Is there any benefit to this - does it reduce wind noise when the
moonroof is tilted or completely open?
Thanx.

bad acceleration on '01 Civic12 Nov 2006 17:11 GMT4
I've had my '01 Civic EX for about a couple of years now. I've been
maintaining it well (regular oil changes, timely servicing, etc).
Recently, the acceleration on my car really sucks. I see older Civics,
Corollas and Sentras zoom past me when the traffic light turns green! I
91 Accord tail light removal help please12 Nov 2006 12:59 GMT5
I'm trying to change the gasket on the part of the taillight that goes
up with the trunk. The driver's side one leaks water into the trunk
after a rain. I open the trunk and water pours in from the light
assembly.
92 automatic transmission controller12 Nov 2006 11:29 GMT4
My 92 Accord LX sedan auto transmission (the standard one not the fancier
version) will not shift out of 2nd gear (for a while it was staying in 3rd
gear).  Reverse works fine.  The dash lights show multiple lights at the same
time, usually the 4th gear indicator is on along with ...
Any Massachusetts Honda dealers reading this?11 Nov 2006 19:32 GMT4
I've given up trying to get Honda dealers to respond to my request for a
quote via e-mail. I suspect, an average one just doesn't know how to use
it. Judging by their Flash-heavy web-sites, their IT-departments value
presentation ONLY, caring little for the utility :-(
