Honda is telling me that I should have them perform a $250 valve adjustment on my 99 Accord V6 in addition to the $780 timing belt replacement that I'm having done today. The odometer reads 88K miles. Is the valve adjustment really worth $250? Is it something I should attempt ...

I have a 1006 Accord Ex 5sp Coupe with ABS. When I start the car the ABS light comes on, goes off normally and then comes on again after 45 seconds. It then stays on until the engine is stopped. I know there is a early version of the Honda trouble code recorder some where.

Hi, folks. Haven't been here in a while. Combo of excellent previous advice here that got me through a couple of repairs, plus the first baby in the family--boy now 5 mos. and super cute!--and a move. ;-)) Anyhow, my MIL (check engine light) indicates a DTC 41. 128K miles.

I just had my 2002 Accord EX V6 at a quicklube place and they wanted to change the automatic transmission fluid, showing me that it was now brownish (instead of red), and claiming that transmission fluid should be changed every 30k.

Midas quoted me about $1,200 to replace dual mufflers & exhaust pipe on my 1998 Honda Accord. There is definitely a loud rumbling noise however the quote seems pricey. Any feedback/comments is appreciated. Regards,

95 Accord LX. Owned in family since new. 110,000 miles on it now. Having problem with the temperature control knob. Knob is not cracked like has happened six times on my '92 Accord. Normal sweep of control knob is from cold at nine o'clock position to full hot at 3 o'clock.

New to the sight ... and wish I had seen it sooner. Just replaced the trans on my 03 pilot ... @ 125,000 miles. It was shifting sporatically from 2nd to 3rd. I had the recall inspection done at 45,000 but to no long term avail. All of the miles are highway ...

Trading in the 03 Element (love it), and REALLY like the Ridge, The wife kinda wants the Toyota FJ....but admits the Honda was more spacious and comfortable. I got the rest of the month to finish shopping for it. So any opinions are welcomed!
