I've got a 2000 civic which I bought, used 3 years ago. From what the
mechanics have told me I've still got the original brakes. I've had
them checked a few times and about 6 months ago I was told that there
was still 25% left on the brakes, but in the last couple of weeks I've

94 Accord - tires?24 Dec 2006 01:30 GMT27
I have a whopping 54K miles on my 94 Accord LX, and it's finally
time to change the tires.  And by the way, isn't 54K miles
reasonably good for original equipment tires?  They are Michelin XGT
4, and have treadwear rating of 320.

How have people fared with aftermarket seat covers? These
would be for my 1991 Civic LX. Its driver's seat cover is a
just a bit threadbare at this point.
Any thoughts on those pictured at the link below?

Engine ping on 2.2VTEC on 97 Accord23 Dec 2006 23:10 GMT6
I have a 97 accord with 200K miles. For over 30K, I have been
experiencing engine ping at part throttle. Two mechanics haven't been
able to find anything wrong during general inspection periods.
I recently had a tune up and valve adjustment which didn't do anything.
Brake pedal traavel after caliper replacement23 Dec 2006 20:45 GMT3
I just had the rear calipers replaced on my '95 civic si.  I
immediately noticed when braking that my brake pedal seemed to sink
about twice as far to the floor as it used to.  I've owned this car
since new and have never experienced this much brake pedal travel.  The
Oil in radiator - 1998 Accord23 Dec 2006 19:48 GMT5
I have 85,000 miles.  4 cylinder & 5-speed manual.  I take good care of
the car and never had any problems.  Did the maint and a few small
repairs like CV boots, etc.  The radiator fan must have failed an it
overheated rapidly.  I shut it down fast.

PCM problem? 99 Accord followup23 Dec 2006 02:42 GMT6
The check engine light came on 3 times in our 99 Accord LX sedan 2.3L
(152,000 miles) in the last month.  First it was just the gas cap, then
the evap canister and other parts were replaced and I was told it must be
something else like the PCM.  This was the computer readout from ...
95 Honda Prelude23 Dec 2006 01:34 GMT3
I bought a used 95 Prelude with 159,000 miles on it. When I bought it
the timing belt, water pump, cam seal, crank seal and two clipter

front. I get it home and notice it's leaking about a quarter size

we are done with the open can, but check out this recent post on

97 accord engine noise22 Dec 2006 15:44 GMT9
I have a 97 accord with an a/t. There is a strange noise coming from the
engine. The noise is constant and it is similar to what you hear when you
engage the first gear or to a lesser extent the reverse gear on a stick
shift car. The noise is not there when the car is in neutral ...
