My 99 Accord 4cyl is not starting because immobilizer refuses to accept both keys. The car was towed to Honda service, who are saying that this is due to a bad battery, test says that it cranks at 420 amps cold, should be 640.

few month ago, "check engine light" came on. Honda dealer diagnosed (tech pulled evap leak code P1457) and checked the car and did not find anything wrong (2x), just reset the light and replaced the gas cap.

I have a 91 honda accord and recently I noticed my gas mileage has dropped quite significantly. My temperature guage has been reading slightly lower than normal and seems to fluctuate and drop frequently. It has also overheated once or twice on me during the past two weeks.

I could do this by troubleshooting, but it will be easier to ask here and hope someone else has experienced this problem and then fix it due to it being 35degrees below ZERO here and I have no garage. PLEASE HELP.
