91 Civic Won't Run24 Mar 2007 18:42 GMT3
My '91 Civic wagon's horn doesn't work.  I tried to fix it by replacing the
fuse.  The new fuse blew immediately. So I traced the wiring and found
corroded and broken wiring at the horn.  I fixed the wires but the fuse
still blew.  I took the steering wheel off to see if there ...

2002 Honda Civic, Automatic, 38,000 miles lightly driven, well upkept
no problems other than a door sensor and an A/C heat sensor. Since the

the car has been idle for some time(ex. parked at the mall). It'll
1986 Honda Accord24 Mar 2007 13:21 GMT2
Hello everyone,
I’m having a issue with my 86 Accord. When I’m driving (at various
speeds, usually while accelerating) my engine abruptly starts jerking
and then the car either catches itself and contiues to go or it stalls
'90 accord ecu codes 1 & 43 (fixed)24 Mar 2007 04:26 GMT3
My mechanic checked the fuel pressure (code 43) and found nothing wrong.
So we went to replace the O2 sensor with OEM and check engine light is now
gone. The car also `seems' to me to have better acceleration and smaller
rpms at high speeds.
New Brakes, 1998 Honda Civic EX Sedan24 Mar 2007 00:52 GMT5
When it's time for new brakes (rotors, pads, drums, shoes, etc.), does it
matter if I go to the dealer or if I go to a chains like Midas or
Wearmaster?
P.S.  I understand that I "must" go to the dealer for electrical concerns

My 90 accord has about 255,000km, it drives great and it's been
maintained well.
A few days ago, my engine light came on while driving < 60 on
a downward slope in town. Now the light comes back consistently at speeds

squeaky sway bar bushings23 Mar 2007 23:38 GMT2
Recently replaced the sway bar link bushings on my 1995 Honda Accord
and after the first rain with them they really squeak a lot.  Should i
have put oil/lube on them while installing or are they not tight
enough?  I tightened the top nut down just as much as the old ones
Tegger replaces his alternator23 Mar 2007 23:29 GMT27
Did I ever tell you aftermarket sucks?
Through no fault of my own, I ended up with two aftermarket reman
alternators (NAPA), both of which failed very quickly. This time I said
screw the aftermarket warranty, bit the bullet and bought a genuine Honda
Break Roter Question23 Mar 2007 23:13 GMT8
My son had his 2000 Accord in for an oil change and the oil change people told him his rear rotors were corroded and need to be changed.  They wanted $300.00 for it.  He put them off until he got some other opinions.
Has anyone ever heard of this problem with rotors and is $300.00 ...
erratic engine power23 Mar 2007 21:19 GMT1
I have a 1995 honda civic (automatic) and it’s in great shape and
normally runs perfectly. Sometimes the engine pulls smoothly and has
no problem getting me up to high speeds and staying there (especially
after long periods of driving). At other times it feels like the car

2002 Honda SiR23 Mar 2007 15:42 GMT6
I purchased a 2002 SiR in June '06 and about 3 months later discovered
a lot of water in the trunk.  Took it back to dealer who had
originally assured me the car had been gone over with a fine tooth
comb when I purchased it!  They checked it out and never found
Element - thinking of buying - advice ?23 Mar 2007 15:32 GMT1
I'm thinking of  buying a new Element (with stick shift). Any advice
from this group  would be appreciated.
BTW - also considering a CRV or Toyota RAV4 (but am partial to a stick
shift - so kinda  points to an Element).
