FYI: I've been looking at this very nice vehicle, but one design item will keep me from buying it just now. That is the lack of a second non electrical way to open the rear hatch.

My 94 Saturn SC1's life has been nice, but it's time for a new car and I'm leaning towards a 2007 Civic LX coupe. I was going to get a DX, but would've had to add a CD player, and since more nice stuff comes with the LX for not much more than the CD player would've cost, I ...

I'm working on my buddy?s civic and having some trouble figuring what?s wrong. The car was running ok until he came out of the store and it wouldn?t start. After having it towed to my house I started to check things over. His mechanic said it was the timing belt. Sounds like all

| Civic for tall people: pedal/seat customizations? | 05 Apr 2007 22:14 GMT | 5 |
I'm tall and have found that I can't find a comfortable seat position in my civic that allows me to reach both the pedals and steering wheel comfortably. If my hands are at a comfortable position, then my legs are scrunched up, and if my legs are at a comfortable position,

| Problems w/ CR-V's rear diffs and eng oil leaks ? | 05 Apr 2007 04:42 GMT | 5 |
I had been considering an Element but now believe maybe a 4wd CR-V may be in order. However, in researching the CR-V, a few alarming points keep coming up : 1) Bad rear differentials on '07's. Seems like loads of trouble here.

I'm thinking of buying a new Element (with stick shift). Any advice from this group would be appreciated. BTW - also considering a CRV or Toyota RAV4 (but am partial to a stick shift - so kinda points to an Element).
