Honda CR-V07 Apr 2007 01:46 GMT5
FYI:
I've been looking at this very nice vehicle, but one design item will
keep me from buying it just now.
That is the lack of a second non electrical way to open the rear hatch.
Civic stock spoilers.07 Apr 2007 00:51 GMT4
Is it possible to remove the spoiler that comes stock on Civics, and if
so, what is left after removing it?  Also, what tools are required for
doing this?
Honda CR-V blown  AC compressor - FIXED!06 Apr 2007 20:03 GMT8
Bought a USED 2003 Honda CR-V LX AWD 5 Speed (build date 09/2002) in
December 2005.  Paid for a 1 year full warranty on this Honda Certified
vehicle.  Well, that is expired.
Going down the road at 40 Mph, March 25th, Sunday, the AC suddenly quit
Buying a 2007 Civic LX tips?06 Apr 2007 17:01 GMT20
My 94 Saturn SC1's life has been nice, but it's time for a new car and I'm
leaning towards a 2007 Civic LX coupe.  I was going to get a DX, but
would've had to add a CD player, and since more nice stuff comes with the
LX for not much more than the CD player would've cost, I ...
Rusty gas pedal?06 Apr 2007 13:00 GMT2
Recently the gas pedal on my 2001 CR-V seems to be "not smooth". Say
at the stop light, when I step on it to go, somtimes I have to force
on it harder to get the pedal to depress (but once it is depressed, it
moves smoothly)... it's almost like the joint is rusty and need

06 Accord Radio Dies...06 Apr 2007 00:37 GMT7
I have an ’06 Accord, V6 W/O Nav. For no apparent reason, music from
the radio/CD player vanishes. The lights are all on, and the CD player
will cycle any CD. The radio is lit, and will show all pre-sets.
I am on my FOURTH (4th) brand new radio from Honda, and the same thing
Just curious...06 Apr 2007 00:30 GMT3
I have a 95 Honda Civic Del sol SOHC V-tech.
It has 139K miles (which is what the odometer says, but the engine was
replaced before I bought it, so there really is no telling how many miles it
has).
Discount pricing on '07 CRV?05 Apr 2007 23:17 GMT3
I've been pricing a new CRV EXL AWD, and can't get my local dealers to
offer more than a $600 or $700 discount.  Sticker is $26,595.
Has anybody had better luck finding higher discounts?   MrB
91 civic wont start ???05 Apr 2007 23:09 GMT11
I'm working on my buddy?s civic and having some trouble figuring what?s
wrong.  The car was running ok until he came out of the store and it
wouldn?t start. After having it towed to my house I started to check
things over. His mechanic said it was the timing belt. Sounds like all
Civic for tall people: pedal/seat customizations?05 Apr 2007 22:14 GMT5
I'm tall and have found that I can't find a comfortable seat position
in my civic that allows me to reach  both the pedals and steering
wheel comfortably. If my hands are at a comfortable position, then my
legs are scrunched up, and if my legs are at a comfortable position,
UK Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC 1993 - scratching noise05 Apr 2007 20:33 GMT6
I recently purchased a 93 Honda Civic on the very cheap end of the scale. In
general the vehical seems very good except for the following issue.
When the engine is started a scratching noise is heard, on inspection it
appears to be coming from the left side of the engine. This ...
bogging out on highway and hills05 Apr 2007 19:05 GMT3
My carbed, auto, 88 accord is starting fine but sticking at 2000 rpm
until its warm, then it wants to stall out when in drive. Also when i
am on the highway I must lightly feather the throttle otherwise it
surges and boggs and dies. This also occurs when going up hills in any
Problems w/ CR-V's rear diffs and eng oil leaks ?05 Apr 2007 04:42 GMT5
I had been considering an Element but now believe maybe a 4wd CR-V may
be in order. However, in researching the CR-V, a few alarming points
keep coming up :
1) Bad rear differentials on '07's. Seems like loads of trouble here.
New Element - advice ?05 Apr 2007 04:04 GMT11
I'm thinking of  buying a new Element (with stick shift). Any advice
from this group  would be appreciated.
BTW - also considering a CRV or Toyota RAV4 (but am partial to a stick
shift - so kinda  points to an Element).
