Going to help the neighbor replace the brakes on his Honda this Saturday. The front brakes are no problem at all. I have a question on the rear that pertains to the parking brake on the caliper. How difficult is this to reset? I have looked in the normal places for assistance ...

When putting on the parking (emergency) brake how many clicks constitutes a properly adjusted brake? My dealer indicates I'm OK with 11---I think that it's too much. Comments appreciated. MLD

Owner of a 2001 Accord LX Standard here. I recently happened to rent a Chevy Cobalt coupe. That was such a basic car; it didn't have power windows or power mirrors etc. Yet it had very good instrument panel, with a nice trip computer that had

The car is a 92 Civic EX. My wife had reported a couple of times that it failed to crank, but I was assuming the clutch switch was being a little two picky. It's now happening to me, but it's not the clutch switch.

Hi: 4 a.m. in the morning and I'm finally out of the garage and back at the computer. Having to clean up massive amounts of oil is the least of my worries, as long as the car OK. You guys were of course right - it was nothing but that blasted Fram seal stuck there from the

I was getting ready to spend today overhauling the $200 Honda which has one bad cylinder which I suspect is a broken ring. At any rate, I have received mixed opinions on the reuse of head bolts that evidently were a "one use" only type. Especially perplexing was
