Crazy idle and no shutdown on a 91 Civic12 May 2007 02:23 GMT2
We have a 91 Honda Civic in which we dropped a jdm vtec engine and ECU
in it. You know, the kind of conversion many have done before. But,
now we are stuck with the following problem: when we start the engine,
it will hunt between 1K and 2K rpm. Incidentally, the tach only works
Honda City, New poster.12 May 2007 01:30 GMT1
I'm in New Zealand and have a 1985 Honda City E (ER1 engine) that has only
done 65,000 kms. The body is structurally excellent (although it could do
with a lick o' paint) and the engine seems fine. When I got it it'd been
standing in a barn for 6 years, the owner is was a woman ...

Don't want a Civic b/c it's too ugly11 May 2007 09:20 GMT35
I like my '92 model Civic EX but it's way to old (166k miles).  I just
replaced the distributor and have a feeling other things will
"suddenly" start going out at the red light or where ever else is most
inconvenient.  I was planning to get a brand new Civic but after

any snow,,,,I get lots of rain though.

Honda Odyssey and 5W2010 May 2007 23:14 GMT3
I just purchased a new 2007 Odyssey (first new car in over 10 years)
and noticed that it calls for 5W20 motor oil.
Is this some gimmick to improve the fuel economy or is there something
special about this engine that it will self destruct if you use 5W30

Hey everyone,
I have a 2000 Honda Accord and need a new Catalytic Converter. The
mechanic told me that he has to get the converter from the dealer and
that the whole job will run to $1100.00.
advice on removing scratches on clear plastic in front of instrument cluster10 May 2007 22:56 GMT2
I recently was detailing my car and noticed after that there are now
continuous scratches on the clear plastic in front of the instrument
cluster. Not sure how it happened, the terrycloth towel I was using
may have had a pebble in it. They don't feel deep. I tried some LCD
Timing Belt/Water Pump Cost10 May 2007 14:21 GMT10
I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX sedan with 98,000 miles on it.  I have owned
it since it was new.  I am going to replace the timing belt and water pump

The estimates to do this work have varied widely, and I ...

Clutch Pedal Noise, 2003 Civic Si10 May 2007 01:58 GMT4
The Honda's clutch pedal clicks and creaks when depressed (or even when it
is in a good mood). I would be grateful for any insight about what the
problem is and how to fix it.
Thanks!
