95 Civic Blown Gasket or Cracked Head?01 Jul 2007 00:19 GMT12
I have a 95 Honda Civic that I was having problems with overheating.
It would push antifreeze out the coolant reservoir until it was out of
coolant. I ended up replacing the thermostat, water pump, fan temp
switch, and radiator cap but nothing fixed the problem.  I then
injectors cleaning30 Jun 2007 16:41 GMT11
I was chatting with a coworker who told me that all cars need cleaning
of the injectors every 30 to 60k. Heck, I have a 98 Civic and a 2000
Civic and, to me, they run perfectly well with about 100k miles on
them.
'99 CR-V Front End Clunking Noise.30 Jun 2007 13:38 GMT7
1999 CR-V, 93k, has a clunking-like noise from front end when going
over bumps, etc. Have replaced the sway-bar links and yesterday
replaced the upper arm flange bolts. Seems like noise is now worse
after flange bolt replacement. I did the body sealant scraping and
Pilot Help! Broke anchor point on my trailer hitch!30 Jun 2007 03:07 GMT2
I have an '04 Pilot.
So I took the day off to install the trailer hitch. Read the
instructions over and it looks really simple. Removed tow point and
notice the hole position in relationship to the new hitch. Just
How Hard is DIY Valve Adjustment?30 Jun 2007 02:26 GMT14
Once again, this is a 1995 Civic EX 1.6L 125HP sedan. Don't have the
serial number at hand. I've done valve lash adjustments on old Volvo
pushrod engines, but nothing like this. It sounds like the adjustment
mechanism is surprisingly similar, though: set screw and locknut. So,
Element Brake Service Procedure29 Jun 2007 22:11 GMT2
My 2004 Honda Element rear brakes require service every year to lub the
rear disk brakes. The calipers start to stick and wear out the rotors.
Any advice how I could service the disk brakes myself?
Any suggestons about a good service book for disk brake service?
Civic Control Arm29 Jun 2007 16:47 GMT3
I have a 97 civic that is running on a bent front right control arm. I
was told that fastening it to something like a tree or pole and simply
pulling it into place is possible. I was told not to however turn on
the car and reverse it as the wheel is less than an inch away from
2001 Accord LX29 Jun 2007 15:51 GMT1
I am thinking of buying 2001 Accord LX with 80,000 miles on it. I was
looking on the web and found that the this particular class of
vehicles had lot of transmission issues. The current owner of the car
told me that the transmission was recently replaced and I checked
Transmission Seal29 Jun 2007 15:18 GMT5
Does anyone have suggestions how to stop or reduce a transmission
gasket leakage? I have noticed some leaking at the bottom of the
transmission casing where the two halves join.
Thanks.

2001 Accord windshield washer29 Jun 2007 00:12 GMT3
Our 2001 Accord V6 has had the windshield washer pump fail.  Access to
the tank is pretty good through a removable panel underneath. However,
I can't get the connector off of the pump.  It's filled with a
waterproofing grease and in an area I can reach with one hand but
'89 GL 3-door Coupe Power Windows29 Jun 2007 00:10 GMT11
OK, once again I am crossing due to the wealth of knowledge available
across the boards...
My '89 Suby 3-dr coupe's passenger side window would not work. I know when
I looked at the car, the pass window would go DOWN from the driver's side,
Dealing with screws, bolts etc29 Jun 2007 00:00 GMT6
I am trying to perform several tasks that all seem to end up the same --
stymied by a rusted, stripped, immobile screw, bolt, or connector. (My car
is a 99, driven eight winters on salt-laden streets.)
The latest is the retaining screw that holds the air tube on the throttle
