PCV Valve Question - '95 Civic EX26 Jun 2007 09:21 GMT4
I got an oil & filter change today, along with the air filter, and
since I have a new (non-OEM) PCV valve on hand, I decided to check the
existing one. It *looks* pretty new, but I'm not sure it always clicks
when I squeeze the breather hose. The engine makes enough noise to make ...
Replacing a Radiator26 Jun 2007 04:57 GMT3
It is now time for me to replace my leaking radiator (9 years, 182,500
miles).
I plan to replace all hoses, even though they are not leaking.  Would it
be prudent to replace the thermostat as well?
Civic Nav System Routing Options26 Jun 2007 04:48 GMT9
I have an 07 Civic with the built-in nav system that has an annoying
"feature".  When I go on long trips for vacations, I like to take back
roads, state highways and such, and I used to do this with just a
pocket atlas at hand.  I'm planning a trip and if I put in a

I have a 2000 Accord EX (4dr) automatic w/ 88000 miles on it.  A few
months ago, it was giving me around 23/24 mpg.  I went out of the
country and the car was sitting there for 6 months.  After I got back,
it was still giving me 23/24 for a month or two, but during the last

I am the original owner of a 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback. Although it
is 15 years old, it only has 36,000 miles on it. It has been garaged
it's entire life in west Texas, which is pretty much a desert. The car
looks almost new.

'95 Accord CV shafts24 Jun 2007 23:45 GMT7
A friend has a '95 Accord wagon and has found both front CV shafts in
need of replacement.
 I told him he can use my shop to replace them and that I'll help;
however I'm not experienced with Hondas at all and I just wanted to pop
CRX Hero24 Jun 2007 18:41 GMT3
Met a guy earlier this evening with a '90 CRX Si.  500,000 miles -
original motor/transmission.  Garaged all its life.  Fabulous condition.
Total hero worship.  And a little envy.
Where can I get Frigi-Fresh in Albany, NY area?24 Jun 2007 15:37 GMT1
Anyone know who has it?  The BG Products site lists some locations, but I
called a few and they didn't appear to just have the one can I'm looking
for...they had an entire kit (maybe they thought I was talking about Frigi-
clean, dunno).

Symptoms of Valve Clearance Problems?23 Jun 2007 17:14 GMT4
I got the price for major service for the '95 EX, minus the water
pump and timing belt, and I'm starting to see why Hyundai is closing in
on Honda. $410 to $547 for "checking" a lot of things, with parts
costing extra. They didn't even make it clear that a tuneup was
Replaced Timing Belt but . . .23 Jun 2007 15:40 GMT13
Am now wondering what all the fuss was about.
To backtrack, I have been reading this newsgroup off and on for the last few
years.  I've seen many posts here warning of the importance of changing your
Honda Accord's timing belt at 75,000 miles or 7 years (or whatever the
99 Accord Has Me Stumped23 Jun 2007 15:01 GMT13
For almost a year I have been struggling with a recurring problem that
appears to be triggered by sustained driving on the highway.  It has come up
three times now and I thought I had it fixed after the second episode so I
don't know what to try next.
2003 Accord EX Coupe23 Jun 2007 12:48 GMT5
Girlfriend is having trouble with her transmission.  Reading online, it
should come as no suprise.  Details are...
03 ex coupe v6, auto.  86000 miles.  Transmission hesitates when upshifting
from 2nd to 3rd.  Took it in, they said needed a flush, and needed to
