Crossing due to the number of knowledgable people spread across these groups... Tried to do the brake shoes on my 89 Mazda 626 today...no go. Couldn't get the drum off (spent about 2 hours on one drum...)

My battery finally died tonight. So I got it jumped and drove to autozone. I replaced my battery easily by my self. They were 5 min from closing so I just made it. My question is .How do I know that its JUST my battery and not my alternator? Also how long do Honda alternators

I have a 2003 Accord EX 4-cyl with M/T that is on its 6th tank of gas, ever. Yes, it has only 2000 miles on it. I bought it two months ago with 200 miles on the clock. Two days ago, on the way home from work, the car started missing, badly.

my car is makeing a knocking noise only when i turn right.. sounds like it is coming out of the back tire but i cant tell because i only hear it when im driving it... any ideas?? thanks alot guys.... -Jimmy

Just wondering if anybody knows for sure who makes the Super-tech oil at Wal-mart? The price is tempting and it says it meets the same requirements. Still not sure I would trust it in my car. But less than $14 for 5 qts synthetic is tempting. Scott

I'm interested in small cars that can haul lots of stuff and gets good gas mileage. The honda fit seems to fit the bill. However, 0-60mph performance is rated at 12 seconds, which is way slower than average. Does the car have trouble

Warranty company offered to extend the original warranty on the 06 Civic LX for $1,199. Seems expensive...I've got 23,000 miles on it so far, still running like a champ.

My Honda Jazz / Fit (5dr, i-DSI, SE, 1.4L, 2002) handbrake's release button has recessed within the handbrake a little. It is still usable, but a pain in the neck. Would this be easy to fix, or should I take it to the professionals?
