First day as a new Honda owner.  Got a (new) 2007 Accord EX for my
daughter yesterday, and we are quite happy with it.  Just a really well
built car.
One feature I'm surprised to not see is the "auto-door-lock" function.

My 14th Volvo (a 765T) is resting and I need transport. I think the car I'm
looking for is a Civic HX, preferably auto. I'm seeing some in apparently
reasonable shape with 100K or thereabouts for around $4500. Looks don't
matter much, but reliability is a must. Good gas mileage ...

The outside right tie-rod end on my 2001 Civic is 'non-adjustable' according
to my local tire center, because the jam-nut is 'frozen' and can't be
loosened. It was suggested that I go to Honda dealer and have it replaced
and then tires aligned (toe-in/out is off) .

I just started noticing a rather minor inconvenience with my '98
Civic. Whenever I'm starting the car after previously turning it off

Okay, so my mechanic spent all day trying to get the axle portion out of
the differential to no avail.  Did not use an inner CV boot puller with
a slide hammer -- didn't own one.  Was trying to pry it out, whatever he
could, without damaging the transmission, etc.  Gave me back ...
