I have a 2006 Civic with auto trans and am wondering if anyone else is bugged by the way it down shifts all the time. It seems as if every time I take my foot off the gas and "lightly" apply the brake, the tranny down shifts.

I have a '95 Civic with low mileage but the car is not garaged and is exposed to Northeast winters. The oil pan appears to be rusted at the bottom and I've been told it needs replacement. Is it recommended to buy from the dealer, a new pan and gasket? Or is it ok

We just came back from 2 weeks holidays, during which time our 93 civic was sitting quietly in the garage. This morning it won't start. The lights come on, but nothing from the starter at all.

On saturday I cleaned my EGR ports to take care of an O2 senser and it seams to have worked. However, now my car seams to be leaking gas or has a very strong smell of gasoline. Any help???

All of a sudden my wipers stopped working, the fuse is OK. I don't know how to get to the motor... is there a relay i could look for. The Haynes manual is not available yet. Any input will be appreciated.

So this problem seems bizarre to me, but occassionally, I go out to start my car and it tries to turn over however it won't start. I can try it several times and nothing. However, typically if I wait about 20-30 minutes and go back and try again, it works just fine.

since my '89 accord gives black smoke.....mechanics have suggested to change the carburettor.since in my country widely available car is toyota...its hard to get Honda parts. can i replace the original carburettor with toyota carburettor....please suggest. thank you.
