the new models come out in the fall.

06 Civic transmission question29 Aug 2007 20:52 GMT7
I have a 2006 Civic with auto trans and am wondering if anyone else is
bugged by the way it down shifts all the time.
It seems as if every time I take my foot off the gas and "lightly"
apply the brake, the tranny down shifts.
adjusting parking brake, 03 accord coupe 4-cyl29 Aug 2007 17:38 GMT11
After 90000 km, the parking brake lever must be pulled up 9-10 clicks to
hold the car on a moderate slope.  The dealer says the parking brake is self
adjusting, and self-adjusts when the car is braked in reverse.  My Haynes
manual (yeah, I need to spring for a better one if there ...
used car buying29 Aug 2007 13:29 GMT1
Buying a used car is not difficult. Here are some guidelines for you
when considering purchasing a used car:
1. Window-shop around first before doing the final selection. Allot
one day to visit a dealership to look around and test-drive the cars.
Oil Pan29 Aug 2007 03:54 GMT7
I have a '95 Civic with low mileage but the car is not garaged and is
exposed to Northeast winters. The oil pan appears to be rusted at the bottom
and I've been told it needs replacement.
Is it recommended to buy from the dealer, a new pan and gasket? Or is it ok

Hi all, 1996 Honda Accord EX 5 Speed.  Starting yesterday, whenever I get in

I have the code and put it in, but once I turn off the car, the cycle
repeats.  Also, the clock resets and also does not ...

Trading in vs. selling an old Honda Accord29 Aug 2007 00:31 GMT6
I have a 97 Accord with over 230K miles. Runs well, worth about $2000
I plan on purchasing a 2008 Accord when they come out.
I am considering trading in, to avoid the time and hassle of selling
my old car.

We just came back from 2 weeks holidays, during which time our 93

start.  The lights come on, but nothing from the starter at all.

WIERD STARTING PROBLEM27 Aug 2007 03:23 GMT3
So this problem seems bizarre to me, but occassionally, I go out to start
my car and it tries to turn over however it won't start. I can try it
several times and nothing. However, typically if I wait about 20-30
minutes and go back and try again, it works just fine.
