| Should I have the car looked at???? | 18 Sep 2007 23:00 GMT | 12 |
I have a 1993 Honda civic EX 4 door sedan. I was in a minor accident on Sunday, if you want to call it that. I rear ended a young man, but no damage to either car & neither of us was injured as well. I looked over the car well the next day & drove it & I did not see anything wrong ...

| Another Brake Q | 18 Sep 2007 20:59 GMT | 6 |
I failed to mention in my previous post "Brake replacement question." That the squealing was starting before I replaced the brakes It would stop when I press the pedal. Now after bendix parts installed same thing is happening. It is now happeing intermittently due to putting

| 1988 Honda Prelude Part question | 18 Sep 2007 19:43 GMT | 3 |
There are several threaded connections to the thermostat housing. The coolant bleed valve, the temperature sensor, some sort of electrical connector with a snap-in white housing, and there is another connection made out of black plastic that has several (4) or so black rubber ...

| RIP, original alternator | 18 Sep 2007 17:22 GMT | 2 |
I thought it would be nice to post a tribute to my original alternator. It gave 177,110 miles of faithful service in my 1991 Accord. Hopefully its spirit will be reincarnated at the rebuild shop and it can resume its service in a new home.

| audio security code | 18 Sep 2007 14:52 GMT | 16 |
I have a 2003 CR-V. I replaced the battery a couple of days ago, and as I expected, the radio is asking for the security code. I bought the vehicle used from the local Honda dealer a couple of years ago. There is a five digit number written on the back of the manual that I ...

| Replaced rear wheel bearing on Integra | 18 Sep 2007 13:33 GMT | 12 |
My left rear was making noise, so I replaced it tonight. After almost 17 years and 300K miles, the amount of rust under there was horrendous. The 32mm spindle nut came off in maybe two seconds with my electric impact

| What is the fascination with spoilers on riceburners? | 14 Sep 2007 17:23 GMT | 12 |
Why do some Honda owners insist on adding spoilers that are literally 1/3 the size of their entire riceburner ? I'm cruising home after a hard day at the office. Some clown in a blue riceburner with foglights on (despite it being a clear evening) rolls up

| 94 Accord won't start | 14 Sep 2007 14:10 GMT | 1 |
Battery is strong. Starter is no problem. I changed the distributor. It cranks but it just won't start. For about a week before it stopped starting, when I crank, I had to press the gas pedal slightly to fully start the car. What could be the problem?

| Very Strange Problem with 92 civic | 14 Sep 2007 04:54 GMT | 4 |
I have a 1992 Honda Civic DX with Auto trans. From time to time when it sits for about 8 hours in a sunny spot when its about 70-75F outside it will not start. The starter will just crank. If I proceed to remove a spark plug it will start and run on 3 cylinders. I shut

What's the record on getting this service covered by warranty? Is there a new, lower replacement interval? (Was "90,000 miles".)

| Bouncy Idle | 13 Sep 2007 07:01 GMT | 3 |
I've been wondering lately why my 1990 Prelude has a bouncy idle, along with a strange high-RPM idle while in motion. (Shift into neutral and coast; regardless of speed, it will "idle" at 2000-2500RPM until I come to a complete stop. Then it will start bouncing) When the idle

| clutch pressure cylinder of a manual tranny 2000 Civic | 12 Sep 2007 20:22 GMT | 10 |
While doing a minor service, my mechanic found that the master clutch cylinder (is that the right terminology?) is leaking and needs to be replaced. How common is this failure? The car has only 86k miles on it. Also,
