I'm planning on doing a swap on my 95 civic CX.It currently has the D15B7
engine(1.5l 16v).The engine is consuming lost of oil and i want to keep the
car(really love it).I dont want to go "big" on the swap and i'm looking for
the best "bolt on engine".My option are very limited ...

    It would happen on Labor Day that the Check Car light came on
on my 1996 Honda Civic CX.  
    Ordinarily, I would just call a Honda place but that's not
likely today.  

We have a 2003 CRV I am thinking about getting a hitch for to tow a boat.
The CRV is rated at 1500 pounds tow capacity and that is just about
exactly what this boat weighs, including the trailer:

for those of you who work with older d-series motors, have you ever
wondered why the cam timing between the d16a6 cam is "half a tooth" off
from the d15b2?

I have a creaking noise when I turn either way in my honda earlier in
the year it was only to the extremes to almost full turn but now it is
getting so it does it when it is less. I also noticed it only usually
did it when i went left but not right at first but now it goes both

My '01 Civic EX, 235K miles (mostly I-95 commuting @ 100 miles/day) is using
about 1/2 qt. 5W-20 per 4000 miles.
I go 8000 miles (4 months) between oil changes. (Maint.manual states 10,000
mi. interval). Should I start thinking of  using a heavier oil, 5W-30 ,

Yesterday, I was sitting idle with the A/C on, it was hot outside (110 f) in
Phoenix. After 10-15 minutes, the A/C blower fan slowed down to almost
nothing where little air was blowing. It didn't appear to die altogether.
But it was close.

First thing in the morning the car clunks when it is started but throughout
the day it doesn't . Any thoughts ?

I've checked the owners manual regarding both under hood and In-Car
Fuse boxes, and there doesn't seem to be a dedicated Fuse for the
front Winshiled washer pump which isn't working, the back window one's
OK!

As some of you may have read in other posts, I was having a brake drag
problem.
98 civic lx 5 spd.  282000kms.
I hit the brakes at highway speed, lost control, and ended up in the ditch.

My 94 Accord continuosly attempts to lock the doors. Is it the door
lock module, if so where is it located?

The passenger door power window stops working in either position from
both the driver side switch and the passenger side switch after
operating a couple times, then it will start working again. Is there
an overload trip? It does not blow a fuse.

I have just been quoted £250.00 fo7 27000 3rd year service and 1st MOT
although the mot's are supposed to free for as long as i own the car sounds
a bit expensive to me has anyone else had their civic diesel 27000 service
2004 plate.

93 honda passport take a long time to start as if it is getting no fuel &
has loss of power & real bad gas mileage
