Has anyone used non Michelin PAX tires and wheels on a Touring model?05 Oct 2007 19:40 GMT2
I want to use regular snow tires on my Odyssey Touring.  My
understanding is that if I use the appropriate sized steel wheels with
the Honda OE pressure monitoring system and the same size tires as the
Odyssey EX-L (235x65x16) that there will not be any incompatibility
How to adjust windshield sprinkler in accord 200405 Oct 2007 19:22 GMT51
When I try to wash the windshield in my accord coupe I see
the stream of water hits the wiper blade, not the glass.
Nowhere in the user manual I can find the procedure...
It this the same as with other, older cars, that you can
how to remove brake drums - '01 Odyssey05 Oct 2007 18:23 GMT2
How do you remove the rear brake drums on a 2001 Odyssey?
I don't see a center nut/cotter key and they don't pull freely off.
(Maybe they are just a little rusted tight.)
I do see 2 threaded bolt holes 180 degrees apart.
__ If I repaired Honda brakes for a living, I'd design a special tool05 Oct 2007 17:08 GMT3
I've serviced a few sets of (my own) Honda brakes that had the seized
'slider pins'. The most obvious symptom is when the pads wear out three
times as fast on one side of the rotor than the other. They are numbers

bad transmission - 2500 dollars05 Oct 2007 13:54 GMT3
I took my 98 civic to an authorized honda dealer. they read the code
P0730 - Incorrect gear ratio. Now they suggest replacing the
transmission for 2500 parts and labor.

98 civic erratic idle05 Oct 2007 13:03 GMT14
Good day,
98 civic LX 5 spd with 285000kms.
After being on the highway during my 35km commute, when I pull up at a red
light, my RPMs stay at around 2500.  After a few seconds, or if I pump the
1997 CR-V: water from A/C in glove box?05 Oct 2007 03:20 GMT2
Hi. I just bought a 1997 CR-V (117K miles) and brought it back to
Georgia from Florida.  At the end of the 9 hour drive, I happened to
open the glove box and noticed that an ounce or two of water had
collected in the box. The A/C had been on the whole time, as it's
02/CRV, no heater fan = bad resistor(?)04 Oct 2007 18:57 GMT1
All of a sudden our CRV's heater fan quits, but heat still finds its
way to the vents.  Windows eventually defrost, but this will be a big
problem in Newfoundland later this winter.  The local Honda dealer
diagnosed the problem as a "resistor" needing to be replaced.  The
97 accord lx - hitachi or tec distributor??04 Oct 2007 18:56 GMT3
I've seen the Honda factory online parts diagrams and it lists a TEC
or HITACHI distributor.  Depending on which...there are different o-
rings and cap/rotor I think.
any way to tell the difference?  I can't see any markings on the
transmission error code04 Oct 2007 18:46 GMT1
I had an engine error code about a week ago on my 98 civic. I took it
to the mechanic, he read the code, which said there was a transmission
problem: incorrect gear ratio. He checked the transmission fluid,
which was alright, and said the code was likely wrong, it would be
Check Engine Light On04 Oct 2007 15:56 GMT4
2000 Accord EX  V6 58,000 mi. Check engine light came on the other day.  No
noticeable change in engine performance.  No stalls, bucking or misses.
Don't know the error code. Any related comments? Hope it's the EGR valve
since that's still under warranty. Any driving limitations?

03 Pilot - Oil Light04 Oct 2007 00:54 GMT3
While driving to work, my wife noticed the oil light flashing on our 03
Pilot with 64k . So, she stopped and checked the oil level and it was
full -- a recent oil change. So, she tried a restart, but the engine would
not turn over.  The car was towed to the dealer.
Pro and Cons - Toyota Camry vs Honda Accord vs Nissan Altima03 Oct 2007 23:08 GMT30
I am looking to buy a car. What do you guys think is better. I am
looking at 2007s. I figure this is the time to get a decent discounted
vehicle. I want a manual.
Old Accord turn signal03 Oct 2007 14:35 GMT3
Hey all,
I've just come across this place and hope you can help me out! I've
got an '81 Accord hatch and the turn signals have recently stopped
working. Working the indicator stalk has no results; nothing on the
